STRESS. This has been on mind quite a bit lately. The Aerospace Industry ✈️ is highly cyclical and even more so is the design cycle! As a design engineer, I've been working on a lot of emergent work with expedited schedules. which has contributed to some STRESS 🙅‍♀️ in my life recently.... . //How do you deal with stress? // . The best way I know how to clear my head & de-stress enough to pinpoint where my stress is coming from is EXERCISE!! 💃🏼 . I know it can be hard to tear yourself away from work, when the stress level is high, but I find extremely helpful to be able to clear my mind and rejuvenate even for just a few minutes so that I can return to work with a healthier and happier mindset! For me, this means taking a Ballet or Barre class😊, or going for a run at lunch when I’m at work!!💪🏼 . . "Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. #tbt Throwing it back to my Aggie days at @tamu ! . . . I started my collegiate journey at Texas A&M, but I didn't finish there... TBH I had a really rough freshman year, moving to a new state where I knew ZERO people, experiencing a not so great roommate situation, and a rigorous course load was NOT easy on me. ⚡️BUT I truly believe everything happens for a reason (Thank you Jesus!🙏🏼), and while, by the end of the year I had made some really great friends (and still love the Aggies👍🏼), I decided to transfer to a university in my home state of Oregon! BEST decision ever!✨ . .
