The show has turned in some absolute BANGERS this season for the ladies, with Lanfear vs Liandrin, Lanfear vs Moiraine, Moggy vs Nynaeve, Elaida vs Siuan. The boys are getting left in the DUST in terms of toxic homoerotic 4d chess.

We need Asmodean to fill the void Ishamael left behind in having a deeply messed up back and forth mentor-student/prisoner-captor/former friend-complete stranger relationship with Rand.

I understand that Siuan's death hurt and it's a tragedy, and we all wish she could have a happy ending, but please...

It's not Bury Your Gays if it's a political execution following a coup that had everything to do with power (and the plot) and nothing to do with her queerness

It's not for shock value if it's been foreshadowed through the whole season if you had paid attention to what you were being shown and not just what you want to see

WOT is full of characters who happen to be queer instead of it being their sole defining trait, more than most shows out there, so let's stop reducing Siuan Sanche to her queerness

The forsaken as a concept are so funny to me. Like it's this group of objectively horrible people who are all literally dark mages trying to kill each other (and everyone else) but then also just like...jilted professors? Lanfear is the daughter of the night but also the WOT equivalent of the world's leading theoretical physicist? Peak. 10/10 villain design.

This is a blanket post. I'm at that junction of my personal aftermath. If you hate the finale, that's valid, feel whatever emotions you need to feel. If you love the finale, that's also valid and you shouldn't be made to feel like thrash for enjoying it. Just a disclaimer that this is an s03 positive space. I want to cry and laugh about it, but fighting is not on my bingo card.

God remember when everyone was all butthurt about Egwene killing Renna because it “didn’t fit the themes” and it was too much of a girlboss moment or whatever, and now it’s like no she’s haunted every day by what she did, and is a core part of her character and motivation, thanks :)))

I know we are VERY far away from this, but (full book spoilers)

look at this relationship^. I said look at it. Now imagine Moiraine captured by the Finn for what feels like an eternity and then coming back and then not having a single reunion scene with her companion for the last 20 years, a companion who shared all of her emotions and fought and bathed and grieved with her. Easy to imagine, since it actually happened and it broke my heart and bewildered the shit out of my brain. Now, as I said, we are so far from it but I'm delulu very eager about this^ getting fixed on screen. I want them to talk. I want them to weep. I want them to fumble their words. Yell if they have to. Sit in uncomfortable silence that grows to be comfortable before long. I know that (waves at the unspoken trauma Moiraine went through that was mainly described in Jordan's notes) this will be a lot to deal with. But they both deserve to try. And this is one of the million reasons why I want season 4 and 5 and 6 and 7 so please dont forget to rate episodes, keep the engagement going, pray, demand, do witchcraft about it and generally wreack havoc until it happens.
