She felt herself being gently placed down somewhere soft as she struggled to keep her breathing even and fight to stay awake. Reality and dreams seemed to blur together for her, yet she could make out the outline of Black Sapphire next to her; his presence calming her down slightly.

"Thanks... I'm with you too..." Choco Pretzel managed to whisper with a strained smile. If she were to crumble at this moment, at least it was by someone who knew her and might remember her.

Meanwhile . . .

Another grape cookie flew down from the portal in the air, landing on the ground with an elegant flare and grasping his own sentient mic.

"Always causing trouble, isn't she?" he tutted to said mic, who seemed to give him a metaphorical shrug. He then sighed and glanced around them. "Looks like we arrived at another Spire. Let's hope she didn't stray too far."

He kept a collected composure, trying to convince himself that he wasn't worried; he just needed to see for himself that she was okay.

"Black Sapphire, there you are--!! Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you were...erm, someone I knew." Choco Pretzel quickly withdrew her hand, looking quite embarrassed. What's with these other radio show host doubles she's been seeing lately? Has her game glitched more than she thought, blurring the boundaries between verses or something?

Black Sapphire was a little surprised - how many new and strange cookies were going to approach him? Not that he minded too much, he loved loyal fans! (whether they're actually fans or not didn't bother him)

"Oh! Its no problem at all, dear! Though if you're confusing me for someone else I must say that cookie must be dashing!"

He would joke, a slight flourish and a flick of his hair as he spoke.

"Who may you be then?"

Banquet...? Oh, right, the Witches would hold banquets together, regarding the cookies. It would have probably been very helpful if she had played the Witch's Castle game before all of this. But she supposed it was useless regretting things now. All she could do was do what was within her power and control in the present time.

Choco Pretzel was quite taken aback by Belladonna's sudden expressive response, not expecting him to get that excited. She stared dumbly for a moment before chuckling a little nervously.

"Eheh, that's true... With everything made out of food, I imagine you can practice a lot of...magical...things...? I'm curious to see your powers at work actually. How do you replenish it if you use too much of it? Do you mainly sleep or eat to recover?"

"Hello...? Is anyone here? I'm looking for someone who uh...came from somewhere else? Like me..." Choco Pretzel quietly added while searching for the person that Black Sapphire told her about.

The cookie she was looking for seemed to perk his head up, eyes piercing and analytical - his eyes scanning around a little before speaking up.

"I believe you're looking for me"

Their voice sounds, raising a hand slightly as he pushes himself to stand.. ending up being quite a bit taller than Choco Pretzel.

"What is it you need?"

Choco Pretzel blinked twice in mild surprise, then accepted his invitation with a slow nod, quietly smoothing the back of her skirt before she sat down beside him on the bench. She idly watched the birds eat up the free breadcrumbs as she listened attentively to what he had to say.

"Trial and error, huh...?" she echoed his words quietly, staring off into the distance.

There was merit to his words, of course; those words carrying the weight of unimaginable hardship and experience... They were far too heavy for one person alone. That was why....working together as a team was important. To bring a brighter future to the lost and hopeless.

"Yeah, you're right... Even if I'm not always perfect or the strongest cookie, I want to do good. I want to make a difference and be a great ally on my team. That way...we can show that there's still beauty and kindness in this world, right?" She looked to him with a soft smile.

That was –

A familiar feeling.

Pure Vanilla switched the staff in his hands, using his right to pat against the bench. “Sit with me for a bit?” he asked her, head tilted in an indication of welcome. Once she’d settle in, he spread some breadcrumbs on the ground for the birds, which would fly in and start pecking at them thoughtfully.

“It’s a familiar sentiment. How the world feels so heavy on our shoulders.” Pure Vanilla said after a moment of companionable silence. “But I have learned… through trial and error, admittedly, that it’s better to do what you can. The only way we can carry the hope for tomorrow is together. One step at a time.”

their hair is made of water & they have a long braid that's separated into water blobs

they have a water crown / halo circling their head

their eye color is a seafoam green & they have yellow paint beneath their eyes, mimicking eyelashes

there's a teardrop-shaped jewel in the middle of their forehead

they have tattoos on the upper portion of their right arm & middle of their left leg

their soul jam is a pale blue color with a water droplet in the center
