hey @octdl-lee, i'm your secret santa for @avagiftexchange :D!! apologies this is kinda late than i would have liked it to be, but it was worth it :3 we love some good ol' chodark angst (they make me explode) other scrapped ideas under the cut!

at first, i wanted to do a comic, but i also wanted my piece to have at the very least have color, so i'm shelving this idea for now :0

wanted to go for the same concept of chosen grieving and missing dark at their shared, partial destroyed house, but i fear i did not feel like gathering up the references for the house so another shelved idea </3

I mentioned this on a reblog but while I'm excited the next episode is out (and I CONTINUE to manifest dark coming back this blog has one gimmick) id like to gently point out that AVA has fridged two of the only "confirmed" female characters we've had and it's really making me squint

If you're young and you're not familiar with the term I'd recommend doing further reading but the fact that the only female characters we've had are: dead mom for purple's sad backstory and dead love interest for victim's backstory.... Come on guys, it's 2024. I had other criticisms of the episode and while I thought the artistry as always was phenomenal the writing choice of mitsi's role in the story was poor and could have been so much more interesting than "chosen killed his wife", even without considering the fridging.

I have more to say but I've got to pack up to leave for the holidays but I do encourage anyone reading to leave their thoughts and have respectful discussions in the reblogs or comments
