Youtube Blackout (important)

I’m basically just restating a couple of other posts so that hopefully more people will be aware.

Tomorrow, August 13th, Youtube rolls out a new policy that uses generative ai to guess whether a user is 18+ based on the maturity of the videos they watch. Anyone who watches ANYTHING related to cartoons, video games, kids media, etc, will be targetted.

If you continue to use their services once you have been warned, they will “request” your ID and other personal information from you. This is a major privacy violation. If you do not give your personal info, you will be banned.

Starting tomorrow, until the decision is reversed, there is going to be a blackout where (ideally) nobody uses Youtube to force their attention.

I want you all to participate, if possible. Download videos beforehand if you need something to watch during the blackout. Censorship will continue to get worse if we don’t retaliate.

Adult medias that feature gameplay and/or animation are just as susceptible. This affects everybody.

Choices murder mysteries either turn out one of two ways.

Background character #384625 turns out to be the murderer.

OR

The one character with a new sprite turns out to be the murderer.

Storyscape remains pristine in our memories because it died before it could become the villain that Choices is now.

Desire & Decorum book 3 is…rough.

Like, I remember not liking it when it was first releasing, but I couldn’t remember for the life of me why.

-Old conflicts have…surprise, grown old. Countess Henrietta plotting against the MC? Old. MC’s title and claim over Edgewater being contested? Old!

-Resurrection of the dead; Harry is additionally unlikable and is “redeemed” far too late in the story

-Too many guilt-trippy diamond scenes (rescue the baby deer or leave her to fend for herself, help Sinclaire sift through the ashes of his home or leave him to do it alone, play this party game or be only person who doesn’t want to and therefore result in the game not being played at all)

-Bridging off that last point, overly reliant on diamond choices as a whole

-Stupid cast of characters who don’t recognize who is CLEARLY Gideon Payne with a new hairstyle, a mustache, a change of clothes, and a shitty fake French accent

-Minimal deviation of Love Interest dialogue between different routes

-Lack of cohesion between subplots

-Soulless, Book 3 Wedding copy paste that Choices fell in love with for a while
