It's Almost Time for Summer Camp!
Every summer, usually in June, I like to pretend I'm going to summer camp! I like to plan camp activities for myself to do, and sometimes I'll actually go camping when I can!
Summer camp usually lasts a month. Here's the monthly schedule I created

I have activities split into three main categories: Skill of the Week, Arts & Crafts, and Outdoors Fun! And on weekends, I have a free day, and then a day where I play various recreational and noncompetitive sports with my friends!
I also created a weekly day-to-day schedule for when I'm able to have a little more structure
This one includes meals and a category called "Free Time/Class" which is for doing whatever I want outside or doing something like archery, horseback riding, canoeing, playing an instrument, etc.
Since I'm disabled and don't have a ton of money, most of these things I either do through pretend play or through a modified version of the activity. It's a lot of fun! ^_^ Are you going to Camp this Summer?

Campcore/camping activity batch!
coloring pages
ACTIVITY PAGES
QUESTS:
Tent Time Setup
Story: Your plushie friends are ready to go camping — but first they need a tent! Quest:
Set up a real tent, blanket fort, or play tent.
Fill it with pillows, sleeping bags, books, and a lantern or flashlight.
Add a plushie “camp crew” to join you.
🧸 Indoor Tip: Use string lights or a star projector for night-sky vibes!
Nature Explorer’s Checklist
Story: You're a nature explorer on a quest to find hidden treasures! Quest (Pick 5 to find):
A stick that looks like a wand
A smooth rock
A yellow leaf or something shaped like a heart
Something fuzzy or soft (like moss or plush!)
A bug or bug toy (or draw one!)
🌼 At Home Tip: Hide toy "nature finds" around your room or current campsite, and go on a pretend hike!
Campfire Story Time
Story: It’s time to gather 'round the campfire for stories! Quest:
Use paper to draw or build a pretend fire (or use a safe light-up one).
Make up a gentle camping story — like a teddy bear lost in the woods who finds his way home.
Read a book aloud, or ask a caregiver/stuffed friend to “tell one.”
💡 Optional Add-On: Use a flashlight under your chin for dramatic “spooky” (but safe!) story time.
Make S’mores or Camp Snacks
Story: The forest café is serving special campfire treats! Quest:
Make real or pretend s’mores:
Graham crackers + marshmallow + chocolate
OR mini marshmallows and chocolate spread on toast/crackers
Add trail mix, gummy worms, or fruit cups.
🧺 No fire? Use marshmallow fluff, Nutella, or even draw paper s’mores for plushies!
Star Gazer’s Mission
Story: You're looking for constellations and magical sky patterns. Quest:
Lay down and look at the real stars OR use stickers, fairy lights, or ceiling stars.
Draw your own constellation and name it (like “The Teddy Star” or “Bugshine”).
Make a “Star Chart” to hang in your tent.
🪐 Cozy Add-On: Play soft ambient night sounds or music.
Forest Ranger Rescue
Story: A baby animal plushie is lost and needs your help! Quest:
Hide a small stuffed animal somewhere in your space.
Use clues or a map to “rescue” it.
Bring it back to your tent and take care of it.
🍼 Roleplay Add-On: Give it a name, feed it, wrap it in a blanket, and say it's safe now.
Camp Badge Quest
Story: You’re earning your first plushie ranger badge! Quest:
Complete 3 of the other quests.
Make your own paper or sticker badge.
“Pin” it to your blanket, plushie, or a lanyard.
🎖️ Optional: Print or draw a full sheet of badges (e.g., Tent Builder, Snack Maker, Animal Helper, Star Spotter, etc.)
(BONUS: badge sheet)
