One more innocuous request of which Chopper found no reason to decline. In all honesty, picking flowers was something similar enough to what he typically did when hunting for ingredients for his pharmaceutical needs. Perhaps this woman would be a perfect way to kill time and make new connections in this strange land.

"Please lead the way!" Chopper requested a bit louder than he meant to. He couldn't really help himself, his heart throbbing excitedly, a toothy smile once more displayed on his face, akin to one his captain might've worn had he been here.

"Are you looking for any particular flowers? I'm not really an expert on floras outside of medicinal types, but I'll do my best to accommodate!"

Chopper was somewhat surprised that this woman was so invested in his situation. The pirate didn't mind though. As innocuous of a person as this one was, she likely felt concerned for Chopper's apparent solitude. Something about her smile brought him a sense of ease, prompting the reindeer to smile softly right back at the florist who approached him. Perhaps he found a decent way to kill time in this strange land after all.

"Somewhere around. They might've left this town already, but we have a meeting spot in a few days anyway, so there's not much urgency to seek them out." The boy explained his circumstances, gazing up at her with an easy gaze. This woman brought a strange sense of peace and calm out of Chopper, allowing him to lower barriers he may have had up around other strangers.

"Maybe there's something I can do to help you though? I'm a doctor." He felt bad getting so much undue attention without anything to offer in return.

As quickly as he left, Chopper returned with a taller friend, though one arguably just as animalistic. She was noticeably still shorter than Starfire, the bunny mink who Chopper had taken as a sort of younger sibling, Carrot! Without any warning, the bunny girl jumped in front of Starfire and flexed her bicep proudly, standing strong with the Tamaranean in the background as Chopper took a picture. "Like this, Cho-niki!"

Chopper smirked and took the picture, prompting Carrot to hop up in the air in celebration. "We did it! Thank you, Starfire! Garchu~!" Once again leaving little space for arguing, Carrot leaned her face into Starfire's, her cheek vigorously rubbing against the hero's before she ran to Chopper to do the same to him.

Chopper gasped, staring up at Starfire for several seconds before removing his camera. He ran up to the hero and smiled, taking a picture of himself with her in the background. "I did it! Usopp is gonna be so jealous!" He didn't bother interrupting the hero beyond that, choosing to run off and leave her to her devices.

Starfire blinked from the flash of the camera. She wasn't a stranger to people taking her picture, although she had never had it done by such a cute lil animal. She could never get mad at something so cute, which was why Beast Boy often used cute transformations if he did something to anger her.

If Chopper wouldn't have run off so quickly, Starfire would've given him a tight hug. "I wonder what that was about..."

Friend. It was such a delicate topic for the florist, one she had always come to admire but also one that brought a pang of sadness to her troubled heart. There has never been a person she could call a friend. As a Cetra, Aerith would often find herself talking about planet's voice when she was just a little girl. It became the very thing that had resulted in her isolation. Other kids didn't understand her, always making her feel like an outcast so in the end, Aerith had withdrew from them, accepting her loneliness and finding solace in tending to the flowers at the nearby church.

It could get pretty lonely sometimes, but it didn't her as much as it once did. ❛ So you have friends with you here somewhere? ❜ Soft smile played on her lips, hands moving to clasp together as Aerith remained on the same level as Chopper.

The reindeer chuckled softly at the thought of Elizabeth asking such a question, unable to hold back a warm smile, gazing up at her face. Chopper's eyes shimmered with pride in the girl for not even knowing what recreational drug use was, a thing that was surely still prevalent in this time. Indeed, Opium and Cocaine were rampant in Europe, but that was probably something a high class noble child had no reason to consider.

"Ah~!" Chopper grabbed Elizabeth by the hand with his soft hoof, his eyes tearful with joy. "I don't want you to ever change! I'm so proud of you for not being tempted into that kind of life!" He squeezed her hand happily before releasing it, continuing toward Paula once the keys made her presence known.

"Oh! Thanks a lot! That saves me a walk!" Chopper held his hoof out to Paula, ready to accept the keys. "Once I'm settled, I'd be happy to show off some of my medical prowess! Do you have any cuts? Bruises? Burn marks?" Chopper snickered, excited to prove himself to high class members of society. This might have been his chance to show his worth in this new world.

My friends are probably nearby somewhere..."

This sweet child seemed to have missed the point, prompting Chopper to gasp in dismay. He had completely forgotten to tell her about himself! To think, Elizabeth found out about his abilities of transformation long before learning of Chopper's primary skill!

"I am the doctor of my group! I doubt you'll be meeting them until I figure out a way back and forth between here and my home world, but my medicine is far more advanced than anything in this age!" The reindeer boasted proudly, a playful smirk firmly upon his face.

"Once we get to my room and I can unpack, I'll show you something cool! No recreation drug use though! That stuff is bad for you!" Chopper sounded stern on that last point as he got right back to walking, ready to pick up his room key and unpack some bags. He was certain he would mesmerize the blonde-haired aristocrat with his advanced medical knowledge.

"Oooh! Room service!? What kind do they offer?" Chopper excitedly squealed at the thought of it, though he doubted they offered some of the pleasures he was used to from his world. Sushi probably wasn't high on this place's list of priorities, and he wouldn't be surprised if Takoyaki was unheard of here.

Without warning, Chopper suddenly wrapped his scrawny arms around Elizabeth, squeezing her happily against his fluffy body. She felt his heartbeat against her, excitedly yet lightly pounding away at her for the duration of the embrace. His fur was certainly a comfort as well, though not one that lasted long as after about four seconds, Chopper let go of her and continued walking again with a smirk. "Hehe! You're too nice to me, you know that? I'm still gonna ask your family if there's anything I can do to repay the help! Maybe a free checkup or something?" Did he even remember to mention he was a doctor?

It was a fact that Chopper called her that to brighten her day, but to hear Kolulu so receptive to being called Princess made Chopper's heartbeat rapidly increase, his cheeks reddening with delight at the joy he felt Kolulu convey. "Hehe!"

Now that Lori had let them part ways, Chopper walked through the festival with Kolulu atop his large and fluffy back. He hummed joyously, catching the attention of a few onlookers and passersby, several children pointing to him for their parents in wonder. It seemed Kolulu would be seen as privileged today.

"Let's get some cotton candy!" With that, the reindeer headed toward a stall that was selling treats, stopping just in front of it. There was no line since the two had arrived to the festival relatively early. Chopper snickered playfully as the man handling sales turned to greet them, only to stare, bewildered and stunned.

"Honey! Get the camera! We've got the cutest customer riding a deer!" The man shouted to someone in the back, prompting Chopper to giggle a bit louder, his cheeks once again turning pink.

"What can I get fer' ya this evenin', Miss?" Finally the goofy candy booth runner properly faced Kolulu and Chopper, the reindeer remaining silent with the exception of a few stray giggles.

"Hi Chopper!" Kolulu loudly called to her friend, waiving her sleeved arm up high in hopes the doctor would notice her. The young mamodo was wearing a light-pink colored kimono with lots of flower and fish scale patterns. When he and his friends approached, Kolulu's face lit up. "This is my big sister, Lori!" She would look up to the older girl accompanying her, whom giggled and waved politely.

"So this is the famous Chopper" Lori would playfully joke with a smile. "Well, it is a pleasure to meet you." She crouched closer to his level and would give Chopper's hoof a couple handshakes. While Lori was human, she and Kolulu affectionately called each other sisters. The middle schooler was also in a kimono of her own, as was everyone else at the festival.

The whole crew cheered, Sanji exiting the cabin with a mug of ale for each of them. The whole crew ran over to the chef as he put the tray onto one of the tables Robin often sat at on the grassy deck.

"WOOHOO! TO CELEBRATE OUR CREW GETTING TO ANOTHER PLANET FOR THE FIRST TIME! KANPAI!!!" Luffy and the crew excitedly slammed their mugs together, only for Chopper and Franky to give a playful aside glance. It was their second time on another planet. Maybe even a third depending on what shenanigans they got up to with the Galaxy Police before.

Nami's annoyance left her instantly at the sight of the satellites, eyes sparkling with delight at such an incredible bit of technological advancement. "Whoa! People actually live in space like this? Amazing!"

Luffy gawked as well, his hand pressed up against the dome that kept their ship from the elements of space. "I wanna float around in one of those for a while! Where can we get one for our ship!?"

Usopp's eyes narrowed in disdain for his captain's stupidity, though he couldn't help letting out a snide chuckle in spite of his own embarrassment. snickering at the thought of their crew getting something so cool. "That thing's the size of our moon. No way we can just bring it down with us! Heh."

A hotel with two key authentication in such an otherwise primitive world was fascinating to the reindeer. Whoever set this type of thing up knew how to avoid suspicious individuals entering after hours. Chopper chuckled with amusement, nodding in understanding when warned of this.

"Ah... I never thought about how expensive this might be. I have treasure and money from my world, but I can't say I've gotten English currency yet." The shorter reindeer blushed, embarrassed to rely on a new friend like this. He still smiled softly, hoping she felt appreciated. "I guess I owe your family if they've got extra money for me to have a room tonight. Most gold exchange places open in the morning..."

Chopper gently reached his hoof forward to place it atop Kuina's forehead, feeling the spot he'd bandaged for a few seconds. It seemed he was right to assume he avoided the worst, taking a deep breath, the doctor sighed in relief. He had managed to properly save Zoro's childhood friend without even a risk of permanent injury or disfigurement. He only wished he knew exactly what time her incident of death had occurred so he could've prevented it altogether, but this would do for now.

"Zoro is gonna be a close friend of mine, but I can't meet him yet." Chopper's eyes narrowed slightly, reaching his hoof forward once more, holding it out to the girl with a stern gaze. "To put things simply, you were supposed to- or rather, you were destined to die on that staircase. I showed up to save you, but… there are certain things that might lead to a smoother timeline for my world."

This was probably a lot to take in for Kuina. Chopper was suddenly dropping terms that sounded like a science fiction novel right out in the open. "I'm from about a decade into the future. In my timeline, you died falling down the stairs. It affected Zoro a bit too much for me to call saving you normal, but… if you come with me to adventure in my time, we can avoid affecting things too much!" The boy kept his hoof extended, trying his best to word what he was doing in a positive light. Leaving behind everything she knew probably wasn't an easy choice, but given he'd saved her life at such risk, perhaps there was a chance of her accepting. "I told your father the details and he promised to play along, but only if you leave of your own free will…"

Continued from: "Ooh! She woke up! I did it!" Chopper squealed in delight, overjoyed to have officially created a happy ending with the odd machine Vegapunk had built for such a purpose. He'd no idea how this might impact the present or even if it would impact his own timeline at all, but just shifting things from tragic to happy in one world was enough to make the reindeer feel accomplished. "Hm…" The smaller, yet older and likely more capable reindeer chuckled sheepishly at Kuina's question, rubbing the back of his head softly. "Not yet, but some day I will~!" Genius. Chopper was bad at lying but knew better than to make things clear. Still, talking in riddles was likely to irritate the younger swordsman, so Chopper took a few steps backward just to be safe. "You'll grow up to be nice and strong now just like Zoro wanted! Can't say much more than that or I'll get in trouble!" With that, the doctor turned toward the door. "Your dad already knows I was here! Be extra careful around stairs, especially when you're dealing with sharp objects!"

Kuina wasn't exactly sure what he was so excited about. She was pretty sure that he had helped her - but she wasn't aware of the extent that he had helped her. At least not yet, not while things were still slowly coming together for her.

"Oh?" Kuina had no idea how to take the clever answer. How could someone not know someone, but be so sure that they would know them someday? Sure, Zoro was making a name for himself at the dojo so it was possible that the stranger could've overheard someone talking about him and decide he'd want to see what he'd make of himself in the future. But, the young-seeming reindeer didn't come off as a fighter, at least not a swordsman since she couldn't make out any weapons on him.

"You sure talk about Zoro like you know him." As Chopper said more about Zoro, she just got more puzzled. How would he know what Zoro wanted if he didn't know him yet? "Why would you get in trouble?" She didn't notice anyone else with him so how would anyone even know if he were to say more. At the mention of her dad, it occurred to her that she didn't see him here - did he some how know this stranger to feel comfortable enough to permit him into their home. "I'll try... Who are you anyways?"

"You guys can do what you want. If there's not gonna be any action, I'll go take a nap upstairs."

Stunned by how Elizabeth stopped walking to face him, Chopper stopped suddenly as well, thankfully having not walked too close. This blonde-haired child didn't seem the type to hold accidentally bumping into her against someone, but he still hoped to avoid embarrassment. Upon looking up at the girl's open arms, Chopper's heart skipped a beat, his smile widened at the sight of such an unguarded and open gesture. "Oooh!" He almost leaped right into her, taking an excited skip forward only to stop himself, absorbing Elizabeth's words as a sparkle of excitement died into a softer and more understanding expression.

"Ah… You don't need to feel so grateful to me. I was just speaking my mind about it." Chopper stepped forward, considering the offer to embrace the sweet child for a moment before shaking his head, playing it off coolly with a playful smile. The boy took a step past Elizabeth to keep heading toward their destination, hoping not to embarrass her with his affectionate behavior. "Come on! We don't wanna stand around and mess up the flow of the crowd. I wanna get my backpack off once we're somewhere cozy!"

Chopper kept walking, though after a few seconds he couldn't help noticing the sound of another's footsteps behind him. While continuing, he glanced back to confirm he had been followed by the odd woman, prompting a soft sigh to signify his own exhaustion.

"Seems I'll be in your company then. You know what? Fine! I've got plenty of candy to share! You'd better not be up to anything though! I only share with my friends!" He warned, shaking a curled up hoof fist her way as if to threaten consequences if she tried to ambush him.

Locked on her target, Pe pounced!

And got a mouth full of hat. Disappointed, she spat it out.

“Deceiver!”

Mode got ready for another bite.

Chopper smiled softly at his old friend, a snide glance aside as the boy resisted the urge to snicker. "Sounds like you've become a pirate in your own time. That's all I ever do. The world's too big to be satisfied living my life in just one small part of it!"

"It's been far too long. Do you still remember my face...?"

"Oh, Chopper!" Hana exclaimed, eyes big. "Of course, I remember you! I've been... away," the mermaid told him. "Saw the world for a while. And you?"

Chopper gasped worriedly at the sight of Lum's facial expression. "Don't be sad, Lum! We're gonna have fun!"
