I’ve been rewatching Rekraps lifesteal vids and I need to yell about how OCD coded Lifesteal Rek is (specifically season 2 rn). He is convinced people will be out to get him immediately when he joins the server. He is wary of everyone who he might ally with. His immediate goal is to get netherite as fast as possible, and when one person gets a full set SO quickly he is immediately worried because he’s falling behind. It reads so, SO much like he has obsessions about people hurting/betraying him, being generally unsafe, and random bad things happening. And like his methods for dealing with these obsessive thoughts are protective compulsions. It’s why he builds a secret base WITHIN A SECRET BASE before he has even MET most of his new teammates. Also he doesn’t officially join the Poggies for a solid few days after they offer, even though he talks with them that whole time. No one has even TRIED to kill him, and he’s doing safety compulsions. I feel so seen
