Hello tumblr friends, this will be my last post on this blog because I've instead been keeping up with my main tumblr at munstre.tumblr.com, with tutorials on various projects i'm working on (as pictured above). I've moved to Philadelphia, and am launching a new portfolio so it's easier to just have one focused tumblr outlet.

Please add me there if you wish! I think it would be swell of you.

Updated workspace..while I love it I didn't realize I would be dwarfing the retina display so quickly :/

beginning, middle, and end result. Taking a rough illustration from a client looking to add some life and color to her project. A simple illustration was redrawn in illustrator, and textures/color were added by pulling from antique papers (mini glimpse shown in the photoshop screenshot), with shadows burned into the texture using the shape as a stencil. Final product printed to soft canvas, sewn, and is one of about 120 images soon to be available in national catalogs.

Next year, out of respect for my freelance clients, I'm getting myself a larger workspace. And next year most of these images will be pillows at HomeGoods & other crazy retailers.
