Specifically about their emphasis on this red cup promotion when they should be promoting their actual drinks.

Blame Eric. He's tried to make me anti-Starbucks for a while now.

Been spending a lot of time in the studio working on some original tracks. How’s everyone doing?

You call me a romantic now, but let's see if you think the same after a while of knowing me. I'm not exactly a sweet, love at first sight kind of guy. Well, a cuddle recession is better than a cuddle inflation. There aren't many people I'd allow the privilege of a cuddle or two. And no, I have no strawberries at all. That's where the scotch sits, near the four full bookcases in that room alone.

I started writing at a very early age. As I did with reading. Funnily enough, they were the only things unaffected by a childhood case of ADD. And I agree...it has always shined through. You didn't? I'm sorry about that...you've always got time, though. College costs far more than it should. I was lucky enough to not have to worry too much about expenses.

Twenty-two? Excellent. I'm twenty-three.

"A fireplace and a piano, you’ve got to be joking me? We’ve got a real romantic over here folks. Next thing you’re going to tell me is that you’ve got a supply of strawberries dipped in chocolate conveniently placed on your table," Gage shrugs playfully "Well, y’know times are tough. We’re in a cuddle recession so you gotta do what you gotta do."

"You’re right, structure is key and I guess that’s something you have to learn in school. But I think you develop your writing style at a young age and you grow from there, no matter what you learn that style will always shine through. I-I uh didn’t exactly have an opportunity to go to college. Not that I don’t want to go, I just need to save up a bit before attempting anything like that and I’m twenty-two years young."

The fireplace is in between my piano and a really nice couch, too, near the TV. So it's in a prime position, if that makes it any more desirable. Forceful prey...I like that. Sometimes it's nice to play both sides.

It taught me a lot about the inner workings of novel structure, and symbolism and the like, so the years definitely weren't a waste, but as you said...it was more beneficial for an academic than a writer. You didn't go to college, huh? How old are you?

"I’m sure you could, I mean, with your fireplace and all you’d be the most well-off person amongst many other choices. Psh, hardly a predator, more like a forceful prey," he smiles.

"I mean, being an English major in comparison to not going to university aren’t really going to make that much of a difference. In my opinion all school does is make your writing seem robotic, novels are meant to be creative. Unless of course you wanted to be a professor or teacher."

Oh, I think I could easily find one. I even have a prime candidate. I was referring to a hypothetical situation, but aren't you quite the predator, there. 

I find that a lot of people do. Yep...I was an English major, but I realized I'd rather be writing the material than studying it, so I dropped out. I can't say I regret the decision at all. Thank you, Gage. It also helps to have connections...I'll let you judge for yourself which you think I had more of, the brains or the friends.

"I mean — it’s not that hard to find a cuddle buddy. You can just ask a friend for a movie night and flop on top of them when they’re least expecting it. You’ve just got to hope that they’re not stronger than you and eventually they’ll just let it happen. 

Well yeah, I just tend to complain a lot when it comes to the weather. A Harvard-dropout? I guess it says something that you were smart enough to be accepted at such a prestigious educational facility.”

True, but sometimes those can be more difficult to locate...though, it's normally easy for someone who looks like you. Oh no, it actually works. It's in my favorite room of the apartment, too, which is even better.

You have? Wow...so you must at least know what to expect, temperature-wise? Well...I was born and raised in Providence, Rhode Island. Went to Harvard, dropped out of Harvard, moved to New York for two years, and now...here we are. Slightly more complicated than your situation.

"I think I’m going to need to buy some heavier clothes or a personal body blanket," he nods and smiles "I’m Gage. Nice to meet you Chris - can I call you Chris or do you prefer Christopher?"
