You have an obsessed fan tinhat in your ask box. I've seen them in male fandoms since the 80s, even before the Internet, and they are all the same. They are girls and women who think they know the celebrity better than anyone else and they always hate any woman he's with, even while claiming they would support him dating the "right" woman. Many of them suffer from incredibly low self-esteem and tie their self worth to their fandom intensity. The worst suffer mental health issues like delusion or pathological lying. The playbook is always the same: it's PR, the wealthy privileged man is helpless and being controlled by a variety of other people, only certain fans can see the real truth, etc, etc. It's extremely online behavior and from what I've seen, the majority of fans who actually buy tickets for a concert, movie, play or fancon have no idea about these silly fangirl conspiracies. It saddens me when the celebrities learn about them, usually because their personal safety has been put at risk by a few extremists. Keanu Reeves* is a wealthy, privileged, grown man. If he's dating someone for years, it's because he wants to. He knows her better than we do, and he has a whole team of people to suss her out if he felt that was necessary.
*substitute the name of any male celebrity here, Chris Evans, Adam Driver, Robert Pattinson, Benedict Cumberbatch, all the other Internet boyfriends.
