This packhorse bridge was built in 1725 and it spans the River Avon just south of Broughton Gifford near Melksham. A packhorse bridge is too narrow for a cart and the horses would have packs on their side to carry goods in. #Melksham #bridge #wiltshire #history (at Melksham)

This is the all-reflective planetarium at @Bristol which is the centrepiece of Bristol harbourside. It's very cool I think. What do you think? #Bristol #harbourside #planetarium (at Bristol Planetarium)

These are Cornish cows and because of the severe slopes along the cliff paths they all have longer legs on one side so they can stand up straight. Fact! (at Pentewan Beach)

Just finished a severe but beautiful walk along the Cornish coast path from pretty Charlestown (aka Poldark harbour) to Mevagissey. There are some really steep paths to negotiate and there was rain, wind and sun so I'm feeling very weathered and pumped at the moment. Had a bag of chips on Mevagissey harbour in the rain on bank holiday weekend too, how very British! (at Charlestown Harbour)

The secret waterfall in Bowood gardens, Wiltshire. This is hidden away in the trees at the bottom of the gardens and has many paths surrounding it to explore. #waterfall #Bowood #wiltshire (at Bowood House and Gardens)
