Wheatgrass and wheatgrass benefits are a fairly basic health topic that unfortunatley many internet marketers and bloggers have hyped up just to try and sell you some of their cheap low grade wheat grass products or wheat grass supplements. Wheatgrass is a superfood and probably one of the BEST superfoods but you need to make sure your informed and have the correct information before you put your hand in your pocket and even think about buying any. Lots of people are getting ripepd off becasue they do not find the right info or dont bother researching wheatgrass before forking out the $$.
Wheatgrass is not like the grass on your lawn, it is completely different, very nutrient-rich, very healthy, and can definitely help in a number of ways which we’re going to get to in a second. What to look for in wheatgrass products or wheatgrass supplements?
There’s plenty out there. First and foremost, wheatgrass, in its natural form, whether you’re going to a juice bar, or you’re growing it yourself, obviously getting the grass and then grinding it up into a liquid is by far the most beneficial type. But, it can get expensive and the taste it not for everybody. Secondly, to having it in its natural format, a liquid format is actually having it in a more processed or manufactured liquid format. Liquids are absorbed a lot faster in the body than capsules or tablets, and it is a great format for those that want wheatgrass on the run. It’s a little bit cheaper than having it fresh, but once again, it doesn’t taste great. The wheatgrass powder is probably, for me, my most favorite format for having wheatgrass. When you have it with water, it doesn’t really have too much of a taste. Have it with cold water if possible. It’s quite cost efficient as well. When looking for a powder, you’ve got to make sure that it is cold processed or freeze-dried where possible; they are definitely the best variation of wheatgrass. Chris Lynton ‘The Health Guru’ has lived and breathed all things health, fitness and wellness for the past 12 years. Chris is an Expert in his field that has a university degree in health promotion specialising in government health policies, developing national health promotion programs to help with health issues such as obesity, diabetes, healthy aging and skin cancer. In this time he learnt about government science based initiatives to help influence change on a large scale.
During this time it became evident that big business NOT true health requirements mould public policy and skew scientific findings due to back hander funding and how politicians only want to win votes not actually effect positive change.
He then turned to his love of exercise and sport nutrition and started working with Australian and English based sport supplement companies and London representative sporting teams.
After working with many people one on one and helping people achieve their goals such has lean muscle gain, weight loss, fat loss and increasing performance through tailored nutritional plans Chris decided that he wanted to help the world on a much larger scale – because although working with people individually was very personally rewarding he wanted to help the ever diminishing health of Australia and to do this needed to find a way in which he could help as many people find solutions to their health problems and increase the health of the country.
Chris then began working on health information and supplement products that target health issues like obesity, accelerated aging, pain relief low nutrient diets and in this time these products have reached literally to date over 350,000 homes in Australia and New Zealand.
Weight loss is one of Chris’ personal expertise areas and is an area of health that is rapidly growing throughout the world and crippling Australia’s health care system – with worst to come. Chris’ products personally helped people lose 40, 50, up to 80kg quickly, easily and safely.
During this time Chris decided that he wanted to learn more about the health issues that are only going to get worst in the coming 10-20 years because of the rapidly aging population in Australia. Chris completed his Masters in Human Nutrition at the prestigious Deakin University in Melbourne.
Chris specialized in healthy aging, weight loss and sport nutrition and finished in the top 10% of the University.
Chris ‘The Health Guru’ is now most passionate at passing on his knowledge to the world to help make inroads into the health issues that is crippling the world and has resulted in the history first of the 20th century health decline (we are in fact on average living shorter life spans than 10 years ago, even with all of our health, lifestyle and medical advancements in the last 10 years). So… Why Should I Care About Posture…
Your posture or the way you hold your body is one of the most important things in regards to living a pain free and healthy lifestyle. Optimal posture is also the starting blocks for anyone who is looking to commence any type of exercise program, plus as we all know body language is a language far more powerful than the spoken word. A person who has good posture and holds themselves well visually is far more attractive, confident and (unfortunately) going to have a much better chance at gaining respect and admiration from others – which can help is all aspects of life such as work and your relationships with others.
So why is perfect posture important?
1) It Keeps Your Body Aligned.
Lack of or poor posture will result in rounded shoulders, the head tilting forward and an upper back that sticks out or is hunched. This can occur from sitting down by the computer or watching TV too much, slouching while you drive and poor body awareness.
This will result in tightening of certain muscles and weakening of certain postural muscles. This tiny yet important structural change (which happens over time) will begin to change the alignment of your major joints such as the neck, shoulders, spine, pelvis, ankles and knees.

Improve Your Posture by Stretching Your Tight Muscles
To improve your posture you need to lengthen any shortened muscles and strengthen up the weakened ones. Soon you will indentify which issues you have but first with required stretching. This is what you’ll need to focus on over the next 7 days. Trust me you’ll see a huge improvement just from this.

LOWER BODY
1) Lower back stretch
2) Letter T stretch
3) Kneeling hip flexor stretch (one of the most important stretches. Most people with back pain will be tight in the hip flexors)
4) Side lying quad
5) Supine hamstring
6) Gluts stretch
7) Double leg straddle (this is a tough one for those with poor flexibility)
8) Tensor Fascia stretch
9) Forward lunge calve
UPPER BODY
1) Trapeziums
2) Chest stretch
3) Anterior shoulder stretch
4) Back stretch
5) Lat stretch or quadratus (very common yoga pose)
6) Seated lateral stretch (another great one for lower back pain)
7) Kneeling forearm stretch
CUSTOMIZE YOUR PROGRAM BASED ON YOUR PERSONALIZED POSTURE ISSUES:
Below is a list of some of the more common issues that people encounter when they have poor flexibility which can affect your major joints and lead to pain.
Remember that muscles hold your bones structure together. When they tighten and hence increase pull on certain bones your body is thrown out of wack and not in its natural state. This causes chronic ongoing pain and problems.
ANTERIOR PELVIC TILT:
If your pelvis is pushed forward then you will need to concentrate more on your quads and hip flexors. This is a very common issue for most people.
POSTERIOR PELVIC TILT:
If your pelvis is slightly tiled backwards then you need to focus more on your hamstrings.
SLIGHT OUTWARD FOOT PLACEMENT:
If you stand naturally with your feet point outwards, this is the sign of tightness in the tensor fascia or the IT band on the lateral part of the thigh. This causes back pain generally.
LIMITED RANGE OR POOR OVERHEAD SQUAT TECHNIQUE:
If you have troubles with squatting down parallel, with your feet slightly wider than your shoulders while holding a broom over your head with a straight flat back then this is
