DIY Polymer Clay Jewelry from Simple Shapes

Polymer Clay was my first love and I have used it in large scale collages - embedding detailed images simply by placing paper on top of light colored polymer and baking (copy machine ink printed paper, and you can color it with pastels or colored pencils and it transfer beautifully - you can google tutorials on how to do it).

Have you ever thought you wanted to make jewelry from polymer clay but didn’t know where to begin? You can start with simple cutters - even a straw, polymer clay (wait for it to go on sale at your craft store), something to roll out the clay, and jewelry findings.

Make Vellum from Regular Paper Using this Technique

It makes me happy when I come across tutorials that solve problems. I love vellum, yet never seem to have any on hand for invitations, cards etc… This technique to change regular paper into translucent paper is so easy. All you need is baby oil.
