Only Jacob and Sam know the truth. Their relationship, whatever it is, is theirs alone. At the minimum, they are very, very good friends, best friends as they've said. That is enough, we should be happy with that.

I think we're putting too much credence on what we gather from social media. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy shipping them too. I look forward to Jam posts every day. They complete my day.

It's not on either of them if our Jam fairy tales don't come true. I just feel bad whenever there's negativity towards SR/JA when their actions (or lack thereof) don't meet our expectations. We have no right to judge or be mad at or even be sorry for either one since we're not part of the relationship. We shouldn't let our disappointment turn into resentment or hate for the people who bring us so much joy. I've seen it happen in different fandom and I really don't want that for Jam.

I'm turning out to be a Lestat apologist in every universe 😅 It's all fiction anyway so might as well enjoy the messiness and toxicity of it all.

Yes, Lestat is the adult and should've had more control over the situation. He tried to at least but failed miserably because he has fallen in love. Louis words and actions, intentional or not, fueled it even more and Lestat couldn't contain it any longer.

Our lives are built upon the consequences of our decisions. He knows this so well, having to give up music, his early adulthood, whatever dreams he had because he had Vik so young. He wasn't ready for it but tried to be the best parent he could be. Now he finally finds love, something we all dream of, and it comes at a hefty price. There's no clean win for him, he needs to give up everything to have/keep something either way.
