Meet Ceri!

Ceri is one of those mischievous entities that lives among the flowers and the trees and comes out to gather supplies for potions.

Ceri is 5 inches tall and is fully wired for posing. Her clothes can all be changed.

I used the Peach Blush pattern by @daisytinythings for Ceri, her dress, shoes, apron and hair.

Her cloak and basket were free handed by me.

She is made with various sock yarns from my stash

This might be the most serene photo shoot yet

This is Brigid Rose. She’s a custom ordered crochet frog, and I wanted to give her a proper photo session before packing her up. Her new mum picked the yarn out of possible options I showed her, and gave me creative reign over the rest. She will be moving into a doll house, a proper frog mansion!

While winding up today’s photoshoot I spotted a little fawn hiding in the shadows! Photo was taken from a safe distance with zoom to not disturb her.

Wisp is waiting for an outfit, but it’s never too early to go on a nature walk (or two, I was trying to tired out both me and the dog,lol). She discovered climbing plants is hard work, clovers make excellent nap spots, violets make great seats for a rest, she shared some secrets with the trees, meditated with some mushrooms and ended the evening with a dip in the lavender.

Wisp is made with the crochet toad pattern by dotpebblesknits, with a couple alterations. She’s also the first frog to test a new more flexible wire I found locally and I think the added range of motion gives them more life.

She’s also is 4 inches tall, made with sock yarn.

Riot is ready to go on a big adventure! Riot is proud to be a rainbow emotional support frog, and wants to encourage everyone to shine bright, even when people try to dim your sparkle. But Riot also wants you to know it’s okay to need support- like their emotional support shrimp. 🦐

Riot comes dressed in a kilt, a pointy ear hat, and comes with their shrimp.

Stress stitched Delores an outfit tonight. I have a stressful day tomorrow and she’s going along in my bag. So I thought she should be prepared.

Her life goals? Spread the gospel of Frog. Dismantle the patriarchy. Encourage everyone to carry emergency fairy lights. Pet all the snails.

Her next move? Try to be patient as I create a wardrobe for her and make her cousins. Her hijinks will be documented along the way.

Meet Pip!

Pip is just a smol baby frog at 4 inches tall. Their new mum picked out the colors and asked for a fun summer outfit, so I thought a romper with little cap sleeves fit the bill. And of course, once I realized these glasses would fit, I had no choice but to add them.

Meet Pip.

Pip has already been pre-adopted, but while they wait with me for their clothes to be finished, we decided to go on a mini adventure.

We watched the sunset, told some stories under a big old tree, and frolicked in some flowers.

Pip is made with some of my favorite hand dyed yarn, 1.5 hook, hand painted eyes, and is wired for posing.

I will likely be repeating this color set for more frog babies!

In all seriousness, with more ‘crochet’ popping up in big stores, remember that we (the stitching community) puts fucking hours into our work. Each piece is hand stitched by one person. No machines. And most of us are UNDER selling ourselves with pricing just to get by.

It’s not a boring cheap granny craft as I saw it called earlier. It’s an art.
