And y’know it was transforming. Here I was asking the universe for a sign, feeling guilty and scared for all of my mistakes. I have finals coming up, it’s a turbulent time where I’m questioning my path in life. And as I’m looking for answers in a student art gallery, there she is. Miss purple pikman in her white lingerie, sprawled on a couch, a huge canvas intricately hand painted. There were others who had the same half disgusted/half amused look on their faces, wondering how a piece of art that belongs in some corner of deviant art ended up here. When I left, I felt incredibly lucky. To live in a time where we can share the strangest parts of our souls with each other no matter how crude or nonsensical we think they are. An educational institution saw this piece and felt it deserving of public view. It does. Someone put hard work into that, to make a half naked purple pikman radiate with freedom of expression. Why worry about whether we do things with enough palatability. We don’t get a lot of time on this planet, so why spent it worrying whether we are good enough to enjoy it.
Anyways the lesson here is if you ask stupid questions to the universe, you get stupid answers. But you DO get answers.
Was having a sort of melancholy, existential day when I walk into a building on campus and see pikmin porn at my university’s art gallery. What the hell, sure.

"You think you're informed just because you read a bunch of grainy PDFs?"
Yeah man. Reading scholarly works on a topic informs you on that topic. That's how this works.
