Arghhhhh I can finally post on Tumblr again. There was a time when I was too busy to post, but once I was done with my own business and came back, I found out that Tumblr had somehow prevented my region from logging in. I had tried VPNs but it did not work as well, so I thought I had to stop using Tumblr permanently. Luckily that was not the case. Yesterday I returned to check one last time and my account had started working normally.
Thanks for everyone who’s staying. I really appreciate it. I will try to find some time to finish what I want to post and push some content on asap.

Annon-Guy: Feel free to correct me on this if something like this happened in the series, but how do you think Train, Sven, Eve and Rinslet would do going undercover at a social gathering/party to keep an eye out for a Bounty in charge of the event?
Knowing Train, unless the trouble already started, he'd more than likely be around the snack table. 😂
In the manga, Train, Rinslet, Eve have already done this and I gotta say Train was actually very well behaved and goal oriented. Maybe if Sven had also got in, he would have had more leeway to do as he liked. However, when there are vulnerable members, such as Rins and Eve - those who would likely require aid suppose a fight occur, he would be more alert and tend to remain close by.
Apart from Train, Eve is also someone that can easily be involved in some potential troubles. She is not the type to go around and mess things up but she is curious and may leave herself expose to danger while busying exploring. But if given a specific task or plan to act upon, she could also curb her impulse and follow the instructions.
Rins and Sven are professionals here. This should not be a problem to them due to the nature of their (previous) jobs.

Annon-Guy: This Crossover ask is related to a fighting game idea I have. It's a 3-on-3 fighting game in the vein of The King of Fighters. I originally didn't inlcude them, but sense Shamen King is no longer owned by Shonen Jump, I have Team Sweaper (Train, Sven and Eve) in their place. To give an idea of this ask, here's the synopsis for my game idea, Batlle Stadium D.M.S.S. (Dengeki Bunko, MF Bunko J, Shonen Jump and Shonen Sunday);
----------------------------------------------
In a special pocket dimension, a mysterious fighter known as Gamma seeks new challengers to face in an effort to find worthy opponents. Using his mysterious powers, Gamma sends out special invitations across different multiverses to a three-on-three fighting tournament where two prizes await the winning team: a $500,000 Cash Prize and title of the three strongest fighters in the multiverse!
For one reason or another, 50 Teams, each with three fighters, enter the tournament by agreeing on the invites they were sent. Some fight for the title of strongest, some fight for the cash prize, some fight for both and some fight to discover the truth behind Gamma's motives. However, a mysterious monster is observing the tournament, waiting to strike...
Who will emerge the champion by the end? And who is the true foe? Gamma... or the monster?
----------------------------------------------
How would Train, Sven and Eve feel about being invited to a fighting tournament? Would Sven be okay fighting female opponents in the tournament? He is a gentleman after all.
In their ending, would $500,000 be enough to pay off their debts? Would they have some money leftover or would they give Eve a little allowance before paying off the debt? If they don't spend it on their debts, what would they spend it on?
How would they feel about having the Title of The Three Strongest Fighters in the multiverse? (They'd each be given medals as proof.) Hopefully it won't excite Creed or give Sephira concern should they catch word of that 😂...
P.S. No need to look up gameplay, okay 👌?
Well, they would not mind tbh. There is a chance of fighting female opponents but they would be able to deal just fine. The idea that hitting female fighters is ungentlemanly seems quite absurd in this case, as people who participate are all far more than capable of defending themselves and aware of what would ensue participation. On the stadium they are all equal. Train and Sven would fight like they normally do, using the right amount of strength needed to win without causing fatal injuries. No holding back without being a berserker is the right way of showing respect and I'm pretty sure they understand that.
If the exchange rate is the same as reality then that would be enough for their debts. All three would have some considerable allowance, even minus the expenses for tournament preparation. Train would just spend it on food and milk, while Sven would spend it on car maintenance and something for his suitcase. Both him and Eve would have some savings, knowing how they would probably need it in case Train causes some troubles. Eve would definitely buy more books and perhaps a bigger shelf as well.
None of them would really care tbh. The trio would mostly enter the tournament for the money. Sephiria, if she really minded that someone other than herself becoming the strongest, she would have thought of ways to take Train out long before any of his enemies could. Unless she wants to kill someone who also enrolls in the tournament or maybe operates it, she would only find the news interesting at best. Creed would be fanboying as usual. He would follow the tournament from the first day and yap about how none of the contestants are at Train's level.

Annon-Guy: In a Crossover Scenario, what would Train, Sven, Eve and Rinslet's reactions and thoughts be about being in another world outside of their own?
Different worlds and different people with different views, laws and ideals. Many heroes to ally or clash with, many villains to fight off.
Depending on how different the ethics are in the world they got thrown into. Rinslet and Sven would adapt the fastest imo. They would expect the changes and actually make some attempts to learn more about it and find ways to cope with the conflicts between their own principles and the new way of life. Train and Eve are more stubborn, though. Eve lacks the experience to go around and judge the environment correctly. She is likely to encounter unwanted situations and need help from someone in order to actually gain more knowledge. She would be more reluctant to compromise her own principles if she had to, but eventually she would give in to some degree. Train would be able to read the room better due to his experience. He would learn a few stuff quite fast but his confidence/cockiness would hinder the integrating process. He probably would refuse to blend in if he had to compromise his codes, believing he could still get away with it as he trusts in his ability. In short, Train would be a lot more proactive, but would be more likely to cause trouble due to his attitude.

Annon-Guy: Here's a different array of costumes for Eve in the Black Cat Nintendo DS Game. Aside the Sephira Costume, what do you think of the others here?
Tumblr media
I think the first five are okay. They seem to fit her concept and the cat costume is adoreable. The other four seem too mature. Eve canonly is about 12 or 13 years old. To see her in the bunny one is disturbing for me. Similarly, the swimsuit is obviously fanservice, so that's a nope. I still dislike Sephiria's uniform the most, though. Eve looks like she is drowning in the coat and the purple color is a nightmare.

Train's & Sephiria's Ambiguous Relationship
Note: this is a post with little to no value for story analysis since my opinions can be bias and paranoia when it comes to this ship. This also gonna be long as hell with many parts so i that don't ram all the info in one place, and it will take a long time before I can write and post all of them.
So as I have re-read the manga to the point it became unhealthy, I can’t help but sensing something is going on between Train and Sephiria. They don’t explicitly show anything, but since the two are both the type to hide their true feelings when it comes to sentimental matters, their seemingly indifferent attitude towards one another (especially Train) just adds more to my suspicion.
Needless to say, Train is certainly a "special existence" to Sephiria. He is the first one she thinks of whenever something happens. While it is unclear if she pays more attention to his ability or him, she definitely does not mean to exploit him in a heartless way. It's true that she care for him a lot more than how it should be normally, to the point that Xiao Li can realize it. However, her organization and her Numbers always seems to worth her prioritizing more than he does, both rationally and emotionally.
It's a bit harder to tell with Train, however, since he ignores everything that has to do with Chronos. But he does trust Sephiria a lot, despite knowing how malnipulative she can be. It's important to remember that malnipulative people are the one of type he hates the most. He doesn't like controlling others or being controlled. He is outwardly doubtful of Rinslet, though not in a hostile way, because she has had some suspiscious attempts in the past. He holds Sephiria in high regards, even calling her captain after he has left. The rank addressing maybe just a slip of the tongue, but it shows how he does not object to her being the one who gives him order that much. His wish to leave mainly stems from the Elders and their rules.
There are hints across the story about how he kinda has a soft spot for her that I will elaborate below.
1. Volume 5:
This is when Sephiria was first introduced. It was shown in the picture here that Train froze on the spot for a short while when he saw her from the window. Since Sven noticed him going to see what’s going on down there and still did not hear him say anything, he had to ask Train about it himself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While it must partly because he was not expecting her appearance, seeing that often people of her rank would not go to do business personally when it’s not a global-scale significant one, I believe Train’s reaction is still something special. Throughout the manga, Train is rarely taken aback by the presence of anyone, even from his enemies. Prior to Sephiria’s visit, Berze had also come across Train’s gang on the street, yet Train acted quite natural, despite having some secs of reflexive surprise.
In Vol.3, their meeting with Berze:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In Vol.10, their meeting with Echidna and Charden:
With Charden:

With Echidna:
Tumblr media
He literally could not care less unless it was about the safety of his friends (Echidna’s case), and if you re-read, the way Berze turned up it’s much more dramatic than Sephiria in Vol.5. However, Train’s usual manner, even just for a short while, slipped only when he saw her. He was definitely well aware that Sephiria did not mean any harm, he knows she is better than that. And-yet-he-still-froze.
Another thing is how Sephiria addressed Eve on their first meeting. Given that she had discovered about Train’s whereabout, I suppose Sephiria would have also done some research on his partners as well, so she probably knew Eve’s name. Nevertheless, Kentaro Yabuki let her call Eve by the exact nickname Train gave her. It was weird, for someone as polite as Sephiria to act so out of courtesy, because up to that point she was a total stranger to the girl. Japanese people do heed the addressing seriously. Similar to Western culture, they will use last name, or must be name in this case (Eve doesn’t have last name), for people they aren’t as close with or superiors. Not to mention Sephiria addresses Train by Heartnet almost the entire series.
Tumblr media
During that talk, Sephiria’s purpose for her visit was quite clear. She said that Chronos was intending to rely on the sweepers force to capture Creed and handed them the wanted poster, announcing that the bounty for his head was serious and stuff. With all that information, it is pretty obvious that she was asking Train a favor, seeking his cooperation. Yet, the fact that she was aiming to “use” him still disappointed Train somewhat, even if he could tell that her hands were tied.
Tumblr media
The panel before this one was the one in which Sephiria confirmed that it was totally Chronos’s idea, and it is visible here that Train was a bit amazed by that news. After the realization, he smiled this ‘Oh-so-turns-out-you-only-come-because-Chronos-requires-my-ability-again.’ smile to her. But, what did he expect, like…for real? She had explained the circumstance and obviously did not mean anything else besides business. Optimizing every resource available has always been Chronos’s way, which he knew. Sephiria showing up at his door is enough to tell Chronos wants something from him.
Of course, being an experienced manipulative a** (sorry Sephie it’s true), Sephiria understood how he would feel. She noticed his unease at the offer and changed tactic, striking at his weak spot which is Saya’s death. This is the first time Sephiria tried to manipulate him in the story imo, and she always seemed to get away with it because Train did not wish to conflict with her.
Why saying she was manipulating? The fact that she came with Berze to Train’s place while it was unnecessary was proof. If it was just because she wanted to inform things and allow him time to think on the offer, etc…Berze could have done it alone. The trio met Berze before her, they had seen that he did not pursue bloodshed. It was fine to let him do the job. But being the woman whom he still holds in high regard even now, Sephiria had probably accompanied her deputy to raise the successful rate. She knows that her presence affects him in some ways. It could be said that she played it smart, but it is a kind of manipulation, or persuading strategy, for understatement.

Annon-Guy: Seperate thing from character themes, but assuming they do, what sort of music do you think Train, Sven, Eve, Rinslet, Sephiria and Creed enjoy?
Hmm I don't think there would be a difference. Since the theme speaks for their personality, they would enjoy it in some sense, and the audience know that they would; that's why we understand how the theme song fits them. There are exceptions, like maybe the character does not enjoy that type of music but they give off such a vibe, but I don't see it in Black Cat.
For Sephiria, I feel like she would listen to anything that is soft and soothing. Classical, instrumental, R&B,..etc. She would not be picky as long as it is not fire and noisy. In her bio, it also says that she hates noisy music. It does not specify which type of noisy music, so I suppose she would not have a clear preference in this. She just wants something that does not give her more headaches.

Annon-Guy: Remember the idea of a Black Cat Movie from a previous Ask? What sort of plot can you think of for Train, Sven, Eve and Rinslet to be involved in?
A business offer from Rinslet/a collaboration to track down a bounty would be the easiest prompt to write. All four can be included and be a crucial part of the plot. The second easiest would be something that has to do with Eve being in danger. A rescue mission happens, Eve gonna have the spotlight as the story draws near its end beating the final boss with the other two sweepers. The hardest plot would be one with Sven as the pivot point, but i think this would be the most interesting. Exploring Sven would likely involve the character line from IBI, an organization the reader knows quite little about, so it will require more world-building. Solving a case that is suspected to have some relation to the one Sven took charge of in the past would be a good story to develop.
An accidental collaboration with Chronos is fine but I think it would be a wasteful plot since the Chronos party, as well as any detail on Train's former involvement in this organization, would likely be ignored after one or a few moments on screen and the rest would be the same as the other stories where Train be the hero and their team save the day. No further character exploration, unlike with Sven.

Annon-Guy: Any thoughts about Jenos (the guy who knows Rinslet and Sephiria) and Woodney (the guy who was pretending to be Train)?
Jenos is a potential character imo. He is a more flexible, less impulsive version of Train. If Sephiria is the head of the team then he is the heart (or he is supposed to be, considering how Yabuki writes him). He would be as good of a boyfriend as he could to Rinslet if he had a chance, despite the dilemma of being an assassin for Chronos while she is against killing. He is the type of person who would suggest mercy but would also understand how it cannot always be an option and be willing to do what is reasonable. Besides his comrades, he is truly attached to Chronos in some ways, for some unknown idea, similar to Sephiria yet not as strongly, since Sephiria is a trained member.
Woodney...Hmmm...Isn't he like all of us? Trying to get our bills paid the easiest way we can haha. The man definitely survives because of the plot however. He is too naive and incompetent in battle to be either an informant or a sweeper. But he is kind-hearted, the one that would go around helping everyone just because he can.

Annon-Guy: Hi there. I know you said no more Game Questions, but I wanted to ask you something releated to a Video Game Idea I have.
It's about Eve. In this fighting game Idea I made a YouTube Video for (Super Heroine Chronicles - Hyper Duels), I have Eve in my roster as one of the playable fighters. Each fighter would have three costumes and I'd like to know what you think of the three I have for her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her Default Black Dress from the Manga and The Mechanical Angel. This is Eve's default Costume.
Her Pink Sundress from The Mechanical Angel. This will be Eve's Unlockable Costume.
Sephira's Outfit. This is one of MANY Costumes Eve can wear in the DS Black Cat game. Thought you might like this one 😊. This would be Eve's DLC Costume.
I was wondering how would you rate the three costumes for Eve and if this game was real, which costume would be your top pick?
Still love the black dress most. I think it suits her character really well. Second place would be the pink dress and lastly the uniform. I love how you include Sephiria and it is an interesting surprise to know that they made her uniform an option, but goshhhh I have a bone to pick with that purple color. Yabuki could have had it black or like navy blue but for some reason chose not to, and it caught me off guard so badly. So yeah, unfortunately, it must be the last one on the list.
Don't know what to say about the pink dress, though. A school uniform or some more "casual" design would be better imo. This one is pretty but would meant for some occasions like a small celebration or friends (peers of her age or Rinslet) hanging out. I would love to see something she would wear to go to see a race in the park, or a game on the weekend.

Annon-Guy: Funny scene, say that Train, Sven, Eve and Rinslet are making a retreat from a dangerous enemy that has the four outnumbered and in a classic case of "Wait, who's driving the car?", Train, Sven and Rinslet see Eve is in the driver's seat driving the car!
How does Eve do holding the wheel? Does she drive them all to safety or do Train and Sven in a panic try to take the wheel from her before she crashes them?
She would actually do quite a good job, to everyone's surprise. She can easily memorize how to drive from watching Sven, and use her hair to for aid. Sven and Rinslet would panic the hell out, but Train would be like "Woah, that's cool. Let's see how you do, Princess.'' Sven would nag her all the way to safety to let him have the wheel, but she would just remain calm, keep a straight face, and perform excellently.

Annon-Guy: This is something crossover related but it can also fit into the main setting itself. (Apologies if I already asked this before.)
Like say there's a police officer seeing Eve fight criminals alongside Train and Sven and doesn't like the idea of a child doing this. So he/she goes out of his/her way to kidnap Eve, cure her of her nanomachines and put her into child care custody.
Well intentioned, but completely antagonistic as they think they're doing what's good for Eve, but is hurting her, Train and Sven by antagonizing them.
This actually happens in a lot of series with the same situation (seemingly unbecoming men adopting a child). However, in this particular case you mention, it is a bit extreme. Train and Sven would definitely intervene since this is against Eve's consent. They might give a good beating out of the guy if deeds had been done; but honestly, they would be more likely to deal with the guy the moment they sense that he will not give up. They have zero care about being antagonized, and because the cure will involve Eve's well-being and safety (she no longer has the power to defend herself), they will make sure the man takes his lesson.
In my opinion, the officer is definitely in the wrong. His concern has a reason, but there are better ways to deal with it. And there is a saying "If it still works, don't fix it." so I think unless there are signs of maltreatment or anything, the officer has no right to decide on Eve's behalf.

A picture of all the Numbers together. Even Ash is here as well. If you notice, you will realize the order fulfill a cycle of 12 hours, staring from Sephiria, Number I - representing one o’clock - to Train, Number XIII - also representing one o’clock.

Annon-Guy: Hypothetical Scenario
There are three bounties who are in one city, but opperates at three different sections. Say to cover more ground, Train, Sven and Eve split up to track each criminal down. How would they accomplish this as they each capture one on their own?
This is depending on wether the bounties are regular guys or have powers like Chronus and the Apostles.
This depends on the ability of each criminal and maybe the distance between them as well.
Eve would be assigned with the weakest one, obviously. She is the one with the least experience, despite her power and versatile tactics. Even in the case they are ordinary people, experience is a crucial factor.
Train would handle the strongest one, and this is more physical. He has incredible durability, athleticism, and strength. Sven can use the gadget to make up for the disparity in strength to a certain extent, however, this is not a guaranteed solution, because using tools would lead to a longer reaction time, causing openings.
Sven should be dealing with the one who has the biggest brain. His knowledge from the time he was a detective would be helpful against this type of criminal.
However, they can also divide the team into duo-solo. Sven goes with Eve to handle the weaker two, and then they all rush back to Train to help him beat the last one. In this case, the three operating locations of the criminals should be near each other. The duo can easily travel back and forth.
Unless they have the kind of power like Echidna, I think these strategies would work for most scenarios.

Annon-Guy: Considering how much Train and Sven rescue Eve...
In a hypothetical scenario, say Train, Sven and Rinslet were kidnapped and Eve was the ONLY one (no assistance from Sephiria, Kyoko, Leon or Charden) who can rescue them and capture the criminals who's holding her companions prisoner.
How would this go? Do you think this would take place before the final battle with Creed, after the epilogue or between those events?
if that happened, the chance it would happen before the final battle would not be very high. At that point, Creed was the only one who has the power and the capability to execute such a plan and success. So if this were to be the case, they would all be dead. Eve is definitely no match for Creed, and considering that Train had not been able to fight back efficient enough, leading to them falling into his capture, this version of Creed would be the strongest possible in the story.
It would likely occur between those events, when the gang was recovering and Train had just freshly lost Hades. If she wanted to rescue them alone, her best bet would be finding ways to communicate with them from the outside to get an insight about the situation and to discuss the tactic. She can create some device to exchange information with her nanomachine, or trying to hack into the enemy's computer system. The first option seems to be more optimal, since she can communicate with her friends and letting them know of her plans. The second one will provide proficient info on the enemy, however, this will be much harder to carry out and hide her intrusion from the technical team. This will be one way investigation as well. Her friends would be oblivious to her movement as they have no means of contact.
Either way, if she did this alone, the winning chance would be quite low. For it to be more guaranteed would result in a long preparation time, and I don't think she would have that much available. The best shot is still forming allies.
