bf! riki who silently looks at you as you work — no matter what you’re doing. he does it unconsciously, not wanting to show you how vulnerable and soft you really make him. he knows how much you’d tease him for it if you knew, but he can’t help it when it’s you.

bf! riki who unknowingly ends up moving you to the inner part of the sidewalk, feeling the subconscious need to protect you no matter what. the first time he did it — back when you were friends with feelings for each other — you looked up at him, confused, the height difference adding to how cute he that thought you looked looking up at him like that. he gave you a small, shy smile, and you continued to walk without a word. now you know why; he wouldn’t be able to handle it if something happened to you, not when he was there.

bf! riki who can’t help but grin as you lightly smack his chest every time he makes a pass on you in public. he knows how annoyed it makes you, and he loves it; your pout is his favourite thing to see.

bf! riki who, however teasing or playful he might be, knows when he’s crossed the line. the second your eyes flash with hurt, and your lips form a straight line, a stark contrast to your normal, bubbly smile, he knows he’s taken it way to far. his eyes widen, and his expression softens, his legs moving a step forward. he cups your cheeks with his warm hands, saying a gentle “sorry, baby”, his voice soft and filled with guilt.

bf! riki who, although loving and sweet, has his own limits. there are days where he’s just tired and snappy, and he doesn’t know how to handle it. then, within seconds, he snaps at you, making your heart sink and familiar tears brew in your eyes. the second he realises he made you cry, he would stop talking, eyes immediately flashing from frustrated to guilty and remorseful. he whispered a sorry before moving closer, and wrapping his arms around you, letting you cry into his chest, each sob leaving your lips making his heart ache even more.

bf! riki who isn’t perfect, but knows just how much he loves and cherishes you, and would never trade that for anything else in the universe…
