I’ve been enjoying this little challenge for myself since I think it’s kind of fun getting to practice lighting and values in under two hours, and I think this piece is my favorite so far. But tbh hats are such a weird thing to try and paint 🤔 like I kept getting stumped by what texture I should try and do

Daily Drawing 1: Glasses

Decided to try and do a daily drawing, at least until mermay begins :3 I want to try and become not so perfection focused so they may not be the best as the paintings but that’s part of the fun methinks

I’m getting my haircut tomorrow so I made this little sketch; also an excuse to practice hands but they continue to kick my butt 🫡 side note does anyone know any good tutorials for how to paint clothes? I feel like the shirt looks too flat >.>

The original image was too big so ima cry in a corner 😭 it amazes me when I see people that spend 20-40 hours on their pieces I can barely do 5 hours before I start going crazy and want to paint something else 😞

participated in a DTIYS on insta though I don’t believe the host has a tumblr :( they’re faecakie on insta ^^ I really enjoyed drawing this but I spent a lot longer on it than I expected and I started to get to a point were I thought it didn’t look perfect, then I realized it would never look perfect v-v if you want to see the process it’s on my insta ^^
