Monica Garwood is an illustrator that lives and works in San Francisco. She has a BFA in illustration and a minor in Visual Arts. After "lurking" on her instagram and website, I deduced that most of her time is with work. She rarely posts non-related work photos on Instagram (unlike a few years ago) and even has a number on her website for inquiries without writing specific times for contact. Money wise, I think she does "okay" or decent, seeing as she has a lot of big clients. Prints wise, they cost 20 to 30 dollars, so combining that with the big clients, I would assume she does not need another job to support herself. Some of these clients include Google, The New York Times, Penguin Books, Facebook, Billboard, Random House, Pinterest, etc. Regarding her social life, I would say she is a very active participation in the illustration world, with several awards and press interviews.
