1st April 2022: Esplanade Showcase

Review: This has got to be my favourite song execution in the entire setlist. The breathe control and vocal dynamics in my opinion fits really well. The stage craft of interaction is also good. And my gosh, the pitching in this one is much better - our IEM started working!

If I could improve this, it would probably be more intune with my musicians, like rock out to my right guitarist solo that i totally missed cause i was too caught up in the moment. Also, would have not pulled away my mic towards the last high belt cause ITS WAS SO GOOD but no one could hear it

Review: The IEMs weren't working and there isnt a FOH. But i think handled it pretty well. tho im relatively flat in the ending of phases. but one of my favourite demostation of Stage Craft.

Felt like I could have done better when it came to pitching. But in general, it was alright.

Review: Pretty Tired at this point my Vocal Chords. Pretty disappointed in the lack of control over my pitching. Tone overall sounds good but i could really work on my breathe control to improve stamina. Could have interacted with the crowd more too.

30 March 2022: REHEARSALS

Last Rehearsals before Esplanade on the First.

Worked the sequence, flow as well as visuals for the band. We did the backing track as well! Got the band to work on charts. Used IEM for the first time today as well to prepare for friday

During Practice today, I made a conscious effort to release air out of my nose as I was singing. In addition, special attention was placed on my breathing where I am trying to support my notes going up and down the scales.

Good, no major issues here. In addition to scales, I've worked on vowel enunciation as well as substituting I A E O U in some of the scales work I am doing. Today, my voice feels more open when approaching the scales.
