Are you actually done watching PD?
Yup. I know Tracy will absolutely crush whatever the hell is planned for Hailey this season. She always does. But I stuck around in hope, choosing to believe Gwen’s words about “honouring” and “respecting” Jay as a character, and how “important” it was for us all to “still love” Upstead, only to watch her destroy both. I refuse to watch her destroy another character I love.
I am not a proponent of hate watching something. Or doom watching. And that’s all that continuing to watch PD would be for me. So I’ll go back and watch the seasons I enjoy, I’ll play around in fic land, and when Tracy and Jesse get their next projects, I’ll be there with bells on.

Same! Also, the storytelling and the lack of cohesion are frustrating. For example, now out of nowhere, Jay turns out to be named Jason—what the heck? I could understand this if it were the start of the show, but not after 10 seasons. They should be aware of what happened in previous seasons and write accordingly to the characters and events of the later seasons, but Gwen is changing everything and making no sense out of it.
For instance, I understand that Upstead could face challenges, like a potential divorce, but if you're going to follow that storyline, you need to address Jay's point of view at some point, which she's not doing. Another concern is Hailey's relationship with Voight. He hasn't stepped into her apartment ever, and suddenly he's the one she's relying on. Did she forget that he was the main reason why Jay left and she almost went to prison?
Moreover, she now claims that Upstead's relationship was only a response to trauma. Honey, they started as partners, became best friends, and many seasons/events unfolded for them to be together—not just a single case.
I love Tracy so much and she's a phenomenal actress but I just don't have any desire to watch anymore. It's clear after that interview that Gwen has absolutely no plans to rekindle her and Jay's relationship and I just don't have the motivation left in me to stick around. The little thread of hope I had left was cut tonight.

Same! I gave it a try, but it's not working. It's heartbreaking how they are not only destroying the relationship but also Jay's and Hailey's characters alone, making them do things that aren't true to their nature and I can't even express my thoughts about the storytelling because I'm out of words. The only thing I need to say is that they couldn't even get Jay's name right on the divorce papers , and Jesse's response of "nah" to trusting the process in Twitter says a lot about what he thinks. I adore Tracy; she is a brilliant actress, and I would support her in every project. However, it's time to say goodbye to PD bc this is not the show we used to love anymore. ( I don't know how the don't see they are losing a lot of audience which every episode that airs)
What truly saddens me is that Jesse and Tracy's characters didn't deserve to end up like this after investing so many years and being loved by so many people. Jesse was there for 10 damn years! For what? For this nonsense! I feel incredibly sorry for the actors and the characters; they all deserved better.
Peace Out watching PD. Sorry Tracy even you can’t keep me around this nonsense anymore. Least we’ll always have fic, and now I’ve freed up time to write.
