FINAL 3 POSTERS

For this, we had to choose a concept or a theme and make 3 posters based on that. The theme I chose was nostalgia, and I made my posters on what nostalgia was for most of us as kids.

POSTER 5 TYPODAY

For this poster, we had to use text as an image and through storytelling we had to come up with 1 poster based on typography just purely playing with words. the topic was storytelling. i chose to show type through Kerala and through onam and boat races in Kerala so joyfully celebrates.

POSTER 4 DISCIPLINE OUTCOME-BASED

For this poster, we were paired into random groups and we had to pick up chits that had different disciplines of schools in it, our group had gotten the School of Computer Science, and we had to take an ongoing project from their school and make a poster out of it, so we did a lot of research asked different people from that school, then we came to a project that a senior from that school did of a delivery drone. We had to come up with one teaser poster and 1 final poster.

POSTER 3 INTERACTIVE POSTER

For this we had to pair up in groups of 5 and create a poster that would interact with our audience. Our topic was deforestation and we made a spinning wheel poster. I was paired up with Vanshika, Divyanshi, Manya, and Affan for this poster.

POSTER 2 NEWS ANALYSIS

For this poster, we had to read the news headlines for 3 days and pair up with people with similar news headlines. I was paired with Raunak, Affan, Manya, Vanshika and Saumya. Raunak, Affan, and I made 1 poster. And the other 3 made the second one. Our topic was War.

POSTER ON SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EQUALITY

In this activity, we were made to pair up in groups and I was grouped with Andrew, Shirlyn, and Jaswant. We were given a topic: Social justice and Equality, and Ma'am also gave us 2 Gestalt principles to work with: closure and figure and ground. Ans we had around an hour for everything so it was a quick poster.

TAG REDESIGN

We had to pick any clothing tag or a tag in general and redesign it to be easier for the user to use. this personally was very fun for me and I enjoyed this assignment a lot

MAGAZINE LAYOUT

We had to choose the word we had for the expressive typography and make a magazine spread with it. Because the software Indesign was a little difficult to learn, I think this was the second most difficult after the motion poster. although it was a good learning experience.

FONT EXPLORATION

This exploration ma'am gave us our fonts and we had to first dress up as them and then we had to research about the font and the font family and make a motion poster out of it.

EXPRESSIVE TYPOGRAPHY

In this assignment, we had to write 10 random words and from those 10 we had to shortlist 5 and make variations of that word in a way where the word should showcase the meaning, and from those 5 we had to make 5 different layouts digiatallly of the finalized type.

This assignment was for us to learn how letters and angles of letters are curated by hand the medium was ink and brush.

TYPE ANATOMY

TYPE ANATOMY was our first assignment for this module and in this, we broke down every small little detail and showed our understanding through different mediums me and my partner Andrew showed it through a scrapbook.
