old therapy used to be like a vent session and crying while she gave me coping techniques.

new therapy is like she's holding up a mirror for me and having me confront myself and all my concerns and issues.

and its scary to face myself. especially when I feel like I don't even know myself or when I hate parts of myself.

i admire the "work" version of myself.

work me is organized, knowledgeable, communicates well, knows her boundaries, completes her goals, level headed, professional.

private me is a hot mess with a pinch of depression.

hurt people, hurt people

i was hurt and i end up hurting someone i love. and now there are the consequences and i am alone.

makes you wonder. make you wonder how someone like me, always surrounded by love and affection, could go a break someone else's heart.

regrettably, i am not doing good or being good.

I can't align with just one religion. it doesn't make sense to.

I will take the lessons and parables I know and run with it.

As my father says, "just do good, and be good".

Do good even if its small acts, be kind, practice patience. Practice quiet stillness because my mind is like disturbed water.

also why should I stress over specific rules? I always struggle with other people criticizing me. and looking within, gotta dig into childhood traumas. fears that have followed me to this day.
