A single bag of flour now costs around $400 (1,500 shekels), and there’s a 40% fee on almost anything we try to buy or receive.

Life here has become extremely expensive and unbearable.

We are afraid to go to the so-called “humanitarian aid distribution areas.”

In a corner of Gaza, my family and I are drowning in destruction, with the echoes of suffering surrounding us. I sat beside my modest tent, hastily erected after losing my home in the latest bombing. The faces of my family tell stories of patience and resilience, with lines of time etched upon them, as if they were records of unforgettable events. 🇵🇸⏳🍉

I once lived in a small home, filled with the laughter and voices of my children. Today, I have become a witness to the agony of displacement. The bombing forced me to flee with my children after a shell struck our home, leaving behind years of memories and simple belongings I never imagined would become unreachable. 🏚️💨

Every morning, I leave my tent and go to work, using a clay oven to provide food for my children. Meanwhile, my youngest son heads to the charity kitchens that offer aid, waiting for long hours under Gaza’s scorching sun. Despite the exhaustion that weighs down his frail body, he carries the food mixed with his tears and returns with a fake smile, hiding behind it the burdens of his struggles. 🍞🥀

At night, when everyone else is asleep, I remain seated at the entrance of my tent, gazing at the dark sky, reminiscing about days gone by… about my home that was once filled with warmth. Yet, I still find remnants of hope in my heart—a hope that one day peace will return, and my children and I will live in a new home, filled with joy. 🌙🏡✨

In moments of solitude, I find peace in prayer and supplication. I plead to God to protect Gaza and its people, to wipe away the dust of sorrow from our hearts. I always repeat🇵🇸🍉🌿

My children and I lived under bombardment and aggression. We had a safe home full of dreams and a bright future for my daughters.

But everything changed when the war on Gaza began. Our house, which we built with strength and effort before the war, was destroyed.

We lost our job, which was our only source of income. The journey of displacement and moving from one place to another began without the minimum necessities of life. We faced difficulties in providing healthy food and clean water. We lived in fear and terror. My daughters could no longer sleep from the intensity of fear.

My mother-in-law suffers from serious lung infections and chronic diseases, and we find it difficult to provide appropriate treatment for her, especially in the winter and the bitter cold. She is part of our family after losing her husband. We are now without shelter, moving from one place to another, and struggling to survive. Today we have no income, no life, and no work. We are determined to rebuild our dreams, secure our future, and rebuild our home. We cannot do this alone and we need your help in building our lives. many of you may know that on my old blog, i was fundraising for people in gaza. one of the people from that blog, my friend ibrahim ( @wolf-aid ), is still struggling. after israel violated the ceasefire, the fragile peace he achieved was broken. he has lost family members, friends, his home, and his life. please help him rebuild it. in his own words:

currently, his fundraiser has raised about 87% of the €80k goal. recently, i donated €10 — please try and match that donation, or at least half of it.

Nader Al-Anqar is 17 year old. He was studying hard and trying to graduate when his school was bombed and destroyed.

His family has been displaced over ten times. During the short ceasefire they were allowed to return home, but when they arrived they found it bombed and ruined beyond livable conditions. They're now homeless and are trying to survive in desperate conditions, fearing bombs day and night.

His family includes his mom, his dad (who has cancer and needs urgent treatment), his little brother Mohammed (14 years old), his older brother Abdul Salam (26 years old), his sister-in-law Aya Al-Batniji, and his niece Iman (who is only 1 year old). He worries for his father who can't receive cancer treatment because Israel destroyed so much of the healthcare system, infrastructure, and resources. He worries for his baby niece who has been born into genocidal conditions and only knows this level of danger.

He is just a kid. We text over Signal and he is shouldering so much responsibility for the survival of his whole family trying to fund-raise on tumblr.

He and his brother survived an explosion of two planes just last night. I'm sure you've seen other posts discussing the recent bombings.

He just sent me this recording. You can hear the sound of helicopters firing nearby.

Things are really scary, and he is desperate for help. He shouldn't have to do this alone.
