“ this costume has been one of my greatest ideas so far. the weather is making it difficult for everyone to wear many clothes, so a bathing suit saved my night. and i’m keeping the faux fur coat in case it gets chilly outside. oh, and you know what else goes really well with my outfit? a drink. i mean, it’s part of the aesthetics, ” charlotte said half-jokingly, then grabbed another glass of martini and slightly lifted it in the air in the direction of the person she was talking to before she winked and took a sip. “ god, twenty-three is looking great by now. ”

“you make a very good point, i am in fact, right here. we do get a little escape from the house for the evening, which is nice as hell, even if the cameras are following us regardless.” he noted to the go pros in the truck as well as the crew that he knew would be waiting at the location, but still, at least no one could interrupt their night. rolling the windows down a bit to get some fresh breeze in the car, he tapping his hand along the frame of the car, the other hand on the wheel as he maneuvered through the back roads of los angeles. his wavy, chocolate locks moved around as he took is final turn as he chuckled under his breath, “we can save the tattooing for the second date.” he joked with a smirk, keeping his eyes on the road, driving up the backside of a mountain with complete focus as he listened to her, “sunsets are beautiful, especially with the amount of clouds in the sky today, not too many but enough for a beautiful end for the day.” he noted, finally reaching the top of the mountain which led to none other than the hollywood sign. they got the okay to come up here, full permission thanks to the producers and he parked the car, “trust me, i have some tricks up my sleeve. here we are.”

“ i don’t think the cameras are the problem. i mean, as long as you have nothing to hide, being filmed shouldn’t affect you that much. i think that the drama people are trying to create is, in fact, the problem. but i guess that’s what makes good television. ” cameras were nothing new to her. she was surrounded by photographers all the time, but they weren’t seeking her dirty secrets and that’s probably why she didn’t feel uncomfortable around them at all. but the crew behind the cameras of this reality show, on the other hand, was a whole different story. “ i see. so you’re planning on taking me on a second date before the first one even ends. huh, i must’ve really charmed you, haven’t i? ” she teased him, then turned her gaze to the car window, taking in the view. a playful grin grew on her face at the sight of the hollywood sign. this was starting to look more and more like a dream date to her. “ it looks like even the sky is in your favor today. still, i don’t know which one of us is luckier. i’m going to let you surprise me with whatever you have up your sleeve. ”

Dean had some kind of tactic when it came to getting to know his roommates. It was better than the boring old ‘hey how you doing’ type of thing most other people did. He didn’t know too much about Charlotte, and unfortunately at his own fault he hadn’t gotten to know as much as he should’ve. Of course they were going to be spending 3 days now in the same room so there was bound to be some awkward run ins when either of them were changing, etc. So it was better to break the tension then having to explain that to other people. He let out a laugh at her reaction to his suggestion “I just think it’s a great way to get to know each other” he said showing her a friendly grin as he reached out to shake her hand “Dean, it’s lovely to meet you Charlotte.”

something charlotte wanted to avoid was running into somebody who wore few to none clothing items. it had happened in the house before, but she wouldn’t know how to react. if it were the opposite, it wouldn’t be such a big deal to her, given the fact that she walked in lingerie for a living, but she was the type of person that got easily embarrassed. that’s one of the main reasons why she knocked before opening a door and locked herself in the bathroom everytime she changed. “ would it be too awkward if i said i’m secretly a big fan? ” she chuckled and shook his hand. “ alright, you go first. ”

“fine, fine, for the sake of your wellbeing, i’ll try to not feel bad. at least, not visibly, even if it’s lingering in the back of my mind.” he assured her with a little wink before his grin widened at her telling him she saw the tattoo, nodding a bit, “glad you like it, can’t wait till we get started on yours!” phoenix reminded her, nudging her a bit as they walked together out of the house, thankful she wasn’t upset with him for having to postpone their date, but better late than never in his eyes. glancing over at her, he caught sight at the rosy pink tones in her cheeks, she was absolutely stunning, especially with that color in her skin after all the flattery he was laying onto her. “exactly, see, glad we are on the same page here. tonight will be great, promise you that.” phoenix told his date honestly, shutting the door behind her as he jogged over to the driver’s side, hopping in and turning the keys to the engine. “let’s just say, i did my research. plus, who doesn’t love a good sunset?” he informed her, smirking over to her before shifting into drive and pulling away from the house, knowing the camera crew was already aware of the destination and would meet them there.

“ you’re here now, aren’t you? this is all that matters. besides, if it helps, try thinking of it this way: the others are doing god-knows-what, probably stuck inside this mansion for the next few days, while we are going on a date. ” charlotte had always had this habit of looking at the bright side of things, it was the only way to keep herself sane in the industry she worked and it eventually turned into something she does subconciously. she was an optimist, even though the world was usually disappointing her with every chance. “ remind me about it again and i might end up asking you to do it tonight, ” she replied, half joking. she was excited about her future tattoo, but she knew she had to wait until he had some free time to take care of her too. and she was patient. “ i’ll hold onto that. ” she didn’t doubt his words, not even for a second. maybe they didn’t know each other too well, but she liked his company and she surely wouldn’t mind getting to know him even better. “ i don’t know, i find sunsets truly impressing, but that’s probably the hopeless romantic in me that’s talking. and i really appreciate the effort, i’m looking forward to see what else you have to show me. ”

a small smile stayed on his lips as he let her handle the flowers, leaning against the door frame as he kept his gaze on her, “still, i felt bad about dipping like that. everyone else got to go on their dates and i wasn’t here, but i promise, tonight will be awesome.” he assured her with a nod of his head, mirroring her own smile when she flashed it at him, bright and comforting in a way. “i might not have known i was going on a date with you during all the bidding madness, but i can honestly say, i’m glad it was you.” it was an honest statement, pushing off the door and offering his hand to her, “let’s get to it then, i don’t want to miss the sunset, and LA traffic can really be a bitch.” he explained, grabbing her hand and leading them outside the house and towards the truck, opening her door for her. once again, for someone so afraid of commitment, phoenix was pretty much a hopeless romantic at heart, he was just too scared of the outcome to admit it. at least this was a date for charity and the show, it gave him an excuse to pull out all the stops without the drastic seriousness that came with dates.

“ you are not allowed to feel bad, otherwise i’m going to feel this way too. trust me, i know what crazy schedules are like and i saw the piece you made and let me tell you that it was definitely worth it. i’ve also been told that good things come to those who wait, so i’ll take your word for it. ” hearing that he was glad to find out she’s the one he’s going on a date with made her feel relieved, but it also made the rosy color in her cheeks brighter now. “ really? that’s good to hear and it means we have to make the best of it tonight, don’t we? ” she chuckled and placed her hand in his, letting him lead the way. it’s been a while since somebody took her out on a date and even though this wasn’t a classic date, she could tell she’s going to spend some quality time with him. “ who told you i’m weak for sunsets? ” she asked once she got in the car, knowing that this was probably a coincidence. still, it fit her taste perfectly.

honestly, he was a bit shocked the price of bidding went up as high as it did, and that she bid the highest on him. she was a freaking victoria secret model for crying out loud, if anyone was to be bet on it was her, although he knew the price was probably very high. so he was grateful, beyond grateful, and that was why it sucked when he had to go out of town last minute. his smile softened a bit whenever she answered, and he returned her laugh with a little one of his own, watching her stand, “well, consider this your prize finally delivered.” he joked, only pausing for a second whenever she pushed up on her toes to place a kiss to his cheek, smile softening a bit again as he nodded his head, “my pleasure, figure it’s the least i could do here. new zealand was beautiful, never been, super thankful for the opportunity. but, hope you’re ready, we have a date to go on. i rented a truck, but don’t worry, i know how to drive it.”

charlotte could only hope that he didn’t find the situation awkward. she tried to put herself in his position and going on a date with whoever had the highest bid on her without being asked if she wants to go didn’t sound too good to her. even so, she promised herself she’ll make this easier for him in any way she can. “ you really didn’t have to. you’re a busy person and you didn’t exactly agree on this date with me, but thank you for being so thoughtful, ” charlotte said as she walked over to a vase and placed the beautiful roses she got. then, she turned around to face him and flashed him a wide, playful grin. “ i’m really not hard to impress, don’t worry. i’m happy you enjoyed your time there. oh? this sounds like an adventure, of course i’m ready. ”

With the sun shining and the temperature being damn close to what Evan considered perfect, laying out seemed like the perfect way to wind down after arriving in the house. She ran into Charlotte a little earlier and though she didn’t know the other woman extremely well, she could recall that she enjoyed having a good time so that was a familiar face that Evan was happy to run into. After a bit of small talk, the two agreed to meet up outback.

Once she was changed into one of the many bikini’s she brought, Evan stopped by the liquor cabinet to mix up a few drinks to bring outside for them. To her, being in the house was almost like a vacation from her whirlwind of a lifestyle in the music industry. Whether that was to hold true or not was yet to be seen. Bringing the two glasses out, she would place one down next to Charlotte before getting comfortable on the lounge chair beside her. “This weather is deffo something I can get used to,” the Brit breathed with a relaxing sigh. “So how do you like it here so far? Anything interesting going on? Fill me in.”

charlotte could never say no to sunbathing. there were few things that could compare to the feeling of the heat and the sun gently kissing her already tanned skin, so when evan came up with this idea for today, she was quick to agree. she returned from her room, now wearing a swimsuit, and took a seat on the chair next to the blonde.

“ tell me about it. my tan is also thankful for this beautiful weather, ” she confessed, putting on her sunglasses. “ it depends on what you consider to be interesting. but yes, i’ve had a great time here. everybody seems friendly, so the only thing i couldn’t get used to by now is having people with cameras follow me all around the house. but other than than, i’m good. what about you? ”

To be honest, he really dropped the ball here, a high paying client needed a new piece done and Phoenix couldn’t turn it down. Unfortunately, it fell during the date that Charlotte bid on for him, and he wanted to make it up to her. So now that he was back in action, literally landing in LAX that morning, he got to work. For someone who was terrified of commitment, Phoenix really could be a romantic, so he got some roses and set up his plan before locating the room Charlotte was in. Knocking twice, he poked his head inside with a sheepish grin, “Hi, I believe someone won a date with THE Phoenix Hart?” He teased, walking inside with his smile only widening, sinking dimples deep into his cheeks, holding out the roses to her.

charlotte had been told that the date she auctioned for was going to be postponed due to his presence being required somewhere else urgently, but she didn’t mind. she did it for charity, so as long as her money ended up making a change in this world, she was happy. besides, she could only imagine it was uncomfortable to know people were bidding to win a date with him, but things like that couldn’t be avoided by the ones who made it to the hall of fame. that being said, she didn’t expect him to take her out on a date when he came back, let alone put so much thought in it. “ i believe that someone is me. ” she chuckled, raising from her seat. charlotte walked over to him, slightly shaking her head at the sight of the roses and feeling the heat in her now rosy cheeks. before she took the roses, she rose on the balls of her feet, placed one hand on his shoulder for support and pressed a kiss to one of his cheeks. “ thank you, they’re beautiful. welcome back, how was new zealand? ”

Dean was used to the whole switching roommate thing by now, getting to meet new people and figuring out their personalities and what they were like was probably and exactly one of his favorite things. Charlotte was someone he had actually been meaning to get to know. She seemed like a big sweetheart and of course being her new roommate he was very much curious about her. To break the tension of being paired with a new roommate he instantly jumped at the chance to grab something strong from the kitchen along with two shot glasses. Entering the room the two of them shared he sat down on the floor between their two beds beds greeting her with a smile “feel like a game of never have I ever?” he questioned with a soft smile. “I feel like it’s some kind of let’s get to know my roommate” kind of thing. He said looking up at her as he gestured to come sit in front of him on the floor

charlotte moved in to her room for the week before her roommate got the chance to do so. it had been difficult at first to move her stuff here and there, but she eventually got used to it. on a brighter note, it was a great way to get to know more people. she hasn’t crossed paths with dean since her arrival, so they were never officially introduced to each other until now, but she was eager to see how living with him for three days straight is going to be. she just finished unpacking her clothes when the door swung open and her newest roommate walked in. “ that’s an interesting way to greet someone. sure, sounds great. ” she chuckled before she closed the closet door and approached him, extending a hand for him to shake. “ i’m charlotte. ”
