My hottest trans take is that living as a woman does more than hrt. Everyone wants to credit estradiol with all this magic, but the real change in ur brain has everything to do with finally entering and living within a new social role. Sure, you need the hrt, I need the hrt, to grow tits and have a nicer face and skin, but as far as all the "magic" of transition, it has a lot more to do with wearing a skirt to the grocery store than taking pills or injections.
