Astro-vision summer event

Before we get into the event, the prize adopts are still a work in progress! However I wanted to make sure this post was made on time, check back in a few days and the last two should be updated on here!

You walk down the busy streets of the mushroom kingdom. Peace has somewhat been restored after the whole Smol Bean infestation thats finally died down. You think about what you'll do now, as your place of work is still closed as it recovers from the madness of the Smol bean infestation... you'll need a temporary job...

Eventually, you stumble across a flyer, it reads "HELP WANTED! Temporary workers needed! All are welcome!"

Huh... how convenient... hmmm... Peculiar park huh? You feel like you've heard the name before, but brush it off. Looks like you have a job to apply for... after all, whats the worst that could happen?

Welcome one and all to the summer event! Mr. Park is looking for employees to work at his park for its 3 month trial re opening period!

Will your character join willingly? Or will they need a bit more... persuasion from Mr. Park to join? Write or draw your character working at Peculiar park! [You can use Ocs or au varients of smg4 characters!]

Here you will see the uniform guide! Be sure to follow it carefully! This is also for upfront staff! You are welcome to dress up your character in other attire, like clowns, actors, performers, or mascots! Its all up to you! [Your character also does not have to be brainwashed by Mr. Park, they can join willingly, brainwashing is optional.]

You are welcome to also include the man himself in your entrty as well!

[Please refrain from using the bottom left reference as that is his pt 3 reference, this would take place AFTER his arc. You wont lose points for using it but its highly recommend]

Once your three months is up perhaps Mr. Park will let one of his employees join you! Meet your coworkers and potential friend for life!

Along with two beans, Mango Arizona Bean and PB&J Bean. I did my best sticking to the rules to create these little ones.

That's right! Spring has sprung and with it, comes a boom in Smol bean population, and it seems they've somehow invaded the mushroom kingdom and are causing havoc for thr Smg4 crew as well as the other locals of the kingdom.

It's up to you, yes you! To help capture as many Smol beans as you can! Write or draw yourself, oc, or your au version of the smg4 crew running around and capturing as many Smol beans as possible! More information below!

Astro-visions spring event

As stated above, you will be drawing or writing about how you/oc/au version of the crew will go about finding, hunting, and capturing smol beans! A few things to keep in mind, these beans are protected under the A.A.O [Astronia Agricultural orginaization] which means you CANNOT hurt the beans. You must collect them and take them to the docs. A ship will be waiting there to take the beans back to their home on Astronia!

You won't be alone of course, you'll have the one and only BeeBe ai to help guide you! BeeBe is an ai that can randomly appear on any electronic device, it's soul purposes is to inform and help you with anything smol bean related! [BeeBe does not have to be included in the prompt, they are an optional addition]

Or perhaps one of the Astro-vision crew members will help you out? They know the area better then anyone! [Again, astro vision characters inclusions are optional]

Rules

You must include at least one oc/au smg4 character/cannon smg4 character in the writing or drawing along with one smol bean that your character is hunting. You may design your own smol Bean or use one of the event beans as seen below

If you are to design your own bean, please follow these rules

Beans cannot be based on body fluids of any kind

All beans must have a stripe on their belly [linear from head to toe]

Beans do not have teeth, if they have teeth that is not a Smol bean, that is a Fur Bean in Smol bean form, which is a similar but different species

Beans will often have head ordements, these are not required, but are fairly common

Beans can have wings so long as it fits the theme of their liquid

The liquid they are based on doesn't have to be edible

Beans must have a liquid tail, it doesn't have to be supper big, and can be a nub tail, but they must have a tail

NO EYES

NO LONG LIMBS

Beans don't Have paws, toes, or toe beans, these can be added as a style choice, but are not cannon, they simply have nubs

If you do design your own bean you are allowed to keep it! As beans are an open species. If you draw one of the beans above however you CANNOT keep it. If there are enough entries some of these beans may be given out as prizes randomly.

This event is for all ages, please do not include any explicit material in your entry.

You may not collab with others unless you state in your submission you both are comfortable with co owning the prize if you win one. Collab entries will only receive one prize if they win

You must tag me in your post, and while not required, it's also recommended you put the #Astro-Vision Spring Event in tags

You will be judged based on effort, not skill. For example a 1k word writing will better your odds then a 500 word entry, or a full colored entry with multiple charecters will get you a better chance to win then a single charecter Sketch. Traditional artists will be judged slightly differently since I understand materials are expensive. Overall it's about having fun and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and trying new things, so don't stress too much!

First place will get to chose from the three first, second place will chose what's left, and third will get the last adopt.

Those who win are allowed to redesign their character or even regift as they please. You MAY NO sell them, if you are found to sell them or claim the art as your own you will be banned from future events.

Final words

This will be the first seasonal event, and I hope to bring more events as time goes on! This event will run till the end of May! So there's absolutely no reason to rush! If you would like to be pinged as a reminder a week before the contest ends, please leave a comment asking to be added to the ping list!

If you wanna care for the story and how it goes, it’s ok to add more stuff to the characters and even change stuff from canon. Just like Liza said “to have a full on development and changing his ways than just being mean”

It’s not like they’re going to fall in love just because “Oh, it’s a Smg34 story so they love each other”, NO DUDE, it has to build up to it and along with that, the characters need to develop in the story. How are you going to care if they get together when it was “just because”?

Besides, sometimes people even do this for the fun of it and if you don’t like it then buzz off man.

SMG34: LIPBITE COMIC WIP UPDATE

oh boy... i know a bunch of folks are hyped for this comic... and boy oh boy are ya'll's prayers going to be heard... kind of... butt for the celebration milestone, and granted majority are from this comic, i thought it was best to give EVERYTHING that i have currently.

starting off STRONG with what you freaks most want: the completed pages. andddd yep that's it that all that i have done LMAO. i've been fixated on my own smg4 oc: tsb, and during the end of my summer was unfortunately fucked over by some personal issues that fortunately got resolved last minute good grief the anxiety prevented me from drawing the gays sigh... aNYWAYS LINEART WIPS!!!!

here are linearts i have completed / in the progress of!! want to aim like i did in the past by finishing up lineart first, and then speed through with color + minor rendering. the reason i have a few colored is to test out what it would look polished and my god... i have improved A LOT. THESE GAY PEOPLE GIVE POWER I AM NOT KIDDING BELIEVE ME IM NOT CRAY- anyways onto wip pages!

jumpscare: tsb stickman sketches. oh yeah. this is how i sketch and i blame sensei eiichiro oda /j. and in case anyone is unable to understand it {i don't blame u LMAO}, smg4 wakes up from the dream and is startled to see mario by his bed. they have a short convo before mario leaves, and we get a job to smg4 in the bathroom trying to put up a brave face. until the moment he leaves he's stunned due to seeing smg3 at his front door. will i elaborate more on specifics or unwritten dialogue? NOPE! gotta keep secrets to make it even more enjoyable at the end!!

currently at 13 sketched pages total, but this is probably gonna be reaching towards 20-ish pages, surpassing part two, but it will depend on how i come up with how to end it. additionally to confirm there will be a PART FOUR / chapter 3, to end this story. my goal is to have it done before i finish my senior year, or at least during the summer after i graduate bc good lord who knows whats gonna happen.
