Pebbles has been in the same outfit since the day I chipped her faceup, and now that the faceup's fixed, I wanted to change her into some new clothes I bought when I visited Seoul last year. So today we have a simple get ready with Pebbles, with a new dress from Dollyhouse, and a new pair of bloomers from Nine9style :) I hope you like the new look~

I've wanted to show a dolly wardrobe tour of my 60-65cm boys' clothing for a while now, but it's a big undertaking so I've been procrastinating on it. I had to strip a few of my dolls to make this video so now there's half naked and fully naked dolls lying in my drawers in the aftermath of this xD

Still, I did it, so here's part 1 of the wardrobe tour!! I'm starting with the top 5 shops I buy my male doll clothes from, because I figured my favourite shops would say something about my overall buying vibe~ If you'll like to see part 2, please let me know!

Today's look is really more of a Supernatural inspired one + something vaguely western and vaguely Infinite's Dangerous comeback stage outfits inspired. But that would be a mouthful to put in the title AND I did start off putting the outfit together going for a nostalgic 90s vibe so let's just say I tried xD

In the spirit of nostalgia, today's video has a bunch of other reminiscing about my dolls as well :) I had a lot of fun making this video, taking the photos, as well as taking a video with my old low-res digital camera. It's not the best for showing the details of BJDs but it's such a vibe isn't it? I hope you enjoy today's dress up!

I ordered a Bluefairy Tiny Fairy Neo Gentle body in Snow White skin back in Aug 2023, and it arrived last year in Feb 2024. The box opening is a year late but because I'm editing this a year later, I can tell you how the body has mellowed out, both in skin tone and also in the elastic tension and it has been a really nice doll to play with :)

After 10 years, here's my updated BJD faceup removal tutorial!

I wanted to share how I remove existing doll faceups as well as how I prep blank heads before doing their faceups. This is my preferred method at the moment, chosen for a mix of ease, effectiveness and efficiency. In the video, I explain the steps I take as well as why I do it, so feel free to modify or remove steps if there's good reasons to change it!

Given how prolific I took photos back in the days, there were bound to be interesting stuff that came out of it, and here's some more old photos that I found and edited 13 years after the fact. I can't remember what I did to achieve the effect on the first one but it's an in-camera effect, and possibly a tricky or finicky one on account of how many bad shots I had to do to get this somewhat cool take.

Sometimes I miss the pop punk vibes of how I dress Sion, but then I remember that it doesn't really fit with him now, and I guess it's just how it is.

I was digging through old photos and found these old nostalgic gems from 2012. I had just bought Sion a pair of jointed hands at that time and I think I must have spent a lot of time posing him, because look at all these different poses in the same shoot?! It's wild to me now, because doll posing is something I've definitely gotten lazier with over the years. I can only imagine what I was doing back then to have finessed him into such shape...

Also, it's interesting to me that I didn't edit these photos back in the day (though I did edit some other shots from this shoot and posted those). Given how quickly I was drawn to these 3 shots while looking through the folder today, I can only guess that I skipped editing these because they weren't what I thought was typical of doll photos to post back then? So in a bout of nostalgia, I set down to colour grade these photos using S1 Supernatural screencaps as inspiration, because, why not?
