ALSO thank you to all of the people of the past who let their inner freak out and wrote fanfiction. These people set major ground work for fandom as we know it today and I will be forever grateful. I know I'm a day late but LORD I just KNOW people were going crazy 57 years and 1 day ago when Amok Time aired. I go crazy in the present day watching it! That episode did so much for so many people, inspired so much fanfiction and it personally improved my life🫡Where would we be without Pon Farr???

I just heard someone referred to spock and Kirk as Bert and Ernie coded and they are SO right
