Cybernetics are cybernetically enhanced humans that are exclusive to Athland. Their origin can be traced back to the 100 year war right after the barrier was put in place to keep the two countries apart. Witches, cut off from their magic, took to enhancing themselves with cybernetics to try and replace their lost magic. Nowadays it is rather mainstream for humans in Athland to have some form of cybernetic enhancement, but not everyone goes as far as Cybernetics do.

Nymphs are nature based creatures that embody the realm of nature in which they protect. From rivers to mountains, nymphs are everywhere.

CIM is getting closer and closer to opening the doors for everyone. Our opening date is January 28th. Just a little over 2 weeks from now. So what does a beta tester do? A beta tester will get early access to the site and Discord. During the 2ish weeks of early access, the players will be given free rein on the site where they can read all of the lore, create characters, and even start writing before the public is invited in. During this process, beta testers would be required to let staff know of any issues found in the code, in the lore, etc. Any questions that need clarification could also be asked and added to the FAQ section of the guidebook. Elves in Eldevein are very druidic in nature and take to the forest and woods in each country. Those in Athland have learned to live in a peaceful coexistence with nature and tech.

A supernatural site wouldn't be complete without vampires. Vampires in Bellmoora have an added addiction and need for magical essence to stay alive. Luckily for them, every living thing in Bellmoora is saturated in magic.

Species Sneak Peak: The origin of the Luminar Engineers can be traced back to a pivotal event known as the "Technogenesis." This extraordinary occurrence occurred in the aftermath of the 100-year war and the breach of the magical barrier that separated Athland from Bellmoora which allowed subtle magical energies to intermingle with a country that had never dabbled in magic before. The Lumiar Engineers are a cross between depleting magical forces and advanced technological engineering. They exist in a world that does not understand them, and struggle to find peace in themselves and the world.

Species Sneak Peak: A rare celestial event where a magical eclipse bathed Eldevein in a cascade of unpredictable energies. This event triggered a surge in magical abilities for many inhabitants, leading to the emergence of new magical talents and the birth of the first "Eclipsed," individuals with enhanced magical capabilities. The Eclipsed today are a species exclusively found in the magical lands of Bellmoora. Wielding celestial magic, they're some of the most powerful magic wielders in the world of Eledvein.

The Species on CIM will be quite varied, hoping to give everyone something unique to play. Fae Nymphs Elves Vampires Werewolves Witches/Wizards Regular Humans Cybernetic Humanoids And two species completely unique to CIM: The Eclipsed & The Luminar Engineers.

Athland technology sneak peak: The QHC or Quantum Holographic Communications - The QHC is used for communications that are more face to face and hands free than using other forms of communication. These calls are made with specific equipment and are quite expensive so only the richest of Athland have access to them in their homes. Such equipment allows one person to talk to another face to face with holographic renderings of themselves and the other caller.

The capital city of Bellmoora, Ondirith, has many libraries overflowing with magic harmony. Magic exists in abundance in Bellmoora, and anyone wishing to learn a new magical craft need only search between the pages of ancient tomes.
