anyway you should always remember that all those foreigners you see dying on the news are just as real people as you are who have just as much interiority as you do. there is nothing about you that makes you more important and it is by pure chance that you are not in their position. in fact, this holds for all of history. every person, no matter the horror of the fate that befell them, had just as much interiority as you do. i feel like some people haven't fully internalized this.

sorry just very annoyed at all these comments and ppl publicly admitting they read smut while like THIRTEEN like, did I do that too? Of course. Do I still VERY actively discourage it because it is in fact very inappropriate? YES!!! These children get on my fucking nerves
#no literally as someone who read things that they shouldn’t have ….#it’s funny until you realise that it actually fucks with your brain development#and divas you only realise this later in life#when your frontal lobe develops and you’re like ‘oh… maybe I shouldn’t have been reading smut as a teenager’#and most of the time I didn’t realise I was doing the wrong thing (critical thinking was lacking)
