I was worried this might be boring because of a few comments I had read but I really enjoyed this. People that watch this expecting to see murders are missing the point. This is before the murders, and it actually quit sad. I feel for him as a teenager in a lot of aspects, loneliness and having thoughts that cannot be explained or helped given the time period. That’s why the doctors comment about him being healthy physically stuck out in this movie. * i also appreciate that they didn’t show the dog death, and even when they showed the dog, it was blurred. *

Without looking up any behind the scenes I found this confusing and disturbing. I respect it for what it is though despite my confusion. It’s like constant intrusive thoughts one after the other with a nice aesthetic background and deeper story underneath the Switzerland sky. I wonder if the drug use in the beginning had anything to do with the rest of the movie though
That’s what you were sacrificed to. But I - have always felt...held. By a family. A real family. Which everyone deserves. And you deserve.

This movie was pleasantly entertaining! It had witty entertainment and a great storyline. I must admit I had low expectations for 30s films but this proves me wrong.
You have a wonderful sense of humor. I wish I had a sense of humor, but I can never think of the right thing to say until everybody’s gone home.

1. Something about this movie made me feel very unsettled and I don’t know why at all. Something about the fact it’s 100 years old maybe... it’s a very advanced concept for something created in 1902 so I do appreciate that especially when the missle goes into the water and they show the boat.
