when are people going to leave ariana the fuck alone. of course she’d be upset that mac didn’t win. especially with the grammys being heavily biased and controlled by not only major companies in the music industry but the voting member pool. award shows are shady. it’s totally possible that mac’s family was clued in that he’d be winning and that changed somewhere along the line. regardless it’s messed up to invite his grieving parents to the show to see him not get what he deserved. it’s a different level of gross. there wasn’t even a two second tribute. a mention of his name anywhere during the show. an acknowledgement. and with ariana pulling out all together just days before the show over how it was run and how she was treated behind the scenes, and dr***’s mic being cut right when he started to denounce the entire idea of the grammys and awards in general man ….. you can’t tell me the industry isn’t seriously fucked and desensitized to treating celebrities (who are making them billions of dollars yearly and the entire reason the show exists….?) like actual human beings. sorry for the rant but mac deserved more and his family shouldn’t have been strung along when the results were known.
