IT WAS GOOD!! Watch it in HD and headphone to appreciate how good the 3D quality! Surprisingly, its also immersive than the cdrama adaption. When I watched the cdrama before, them playing sports took me out. The early episodes are very thrilling to watch! It was fun seeing Princess Changge's action scenes. If you like Mulan, you will probably love her. As a manhua reader, she might start as Avenger character but later on she's like Thorfinn of Vinland Saga. She will let go of her hatred and want peace.

And yeah, my brotp! Sun Ashina and Mu Jin. I almost forgot that Sun Ashina is supposed to be scary in the beginning lol Thank you donghua for making me remember! I can't wait for Changge to join their gang!

I don't remember much details about the manhua but this is a good adaption so far from what I can see! They really copied Xia Da's manhua art style and turn it into 3D.

If you're confused about Changge's mother story... I might be wrong but I think she was like abducted from the Uyghur tribe in exchange for their safety. That's why Uncle Pusa is looking for her to rescue her aka his elder sister. And the guy who usurp the throne is Changge's Uncle from father side who has a romantic feelings for Changge's mom but the mom was given to the Crown Prince back then as consort so they are doomed lovers.
