gang i was so fcking right we are so fcking back
one thing i can not get over in pathologic 2 is how dankovsky is like hehe vorakh. when like. in patho 1 he's only in the town because he's writing to isidor, artemy's dad with whom isidor shares his last name.
so either:
1) dankovsky is lying about not knowing artemy's name for whatever reason (could just be dankovsky being a dick, or he knows and doesn't want artemy to know for whatever reason)
2) dankovsky came to town for an entirely different reason than he did in patho 1

“Trauma can feel like living in a haunted house. You live between the worlds of dead and alive, where regular rules don’t apply. Furniture moves, ghosts of dead children walk through the halls, and it’s nearly impossible to leave, which creates a self-feeding loop of fear.”
— Sarah Smeltzer, “WOMEN, TRAUMA, AND HAUNTED HOUSES”

“I’m homesick all the time … I just don’t know where home is. There’s this promise of happiness out there. I know it. I even feel it sometimes. But it’s like chasing the moon - just when I think I have it, it disappears into the horizon.”
— Sarah Addison Allen

People who have been dehumanized and go "fuck you, I'm a human no matter what you say" and people who have been dehumanized and go "fine then, I'm not a human and I'm happy with that" are equally awesome and should hold hands

what if your doppelgänger wasn’t evil it was just a person. what if your doppelgänger wasn’t trying to replace you it was just trying to learn to be a person and you were the best model it had. what if your doppelgänger looked at you with your eyes and said with your voice that it just wanted to be loved. what then.
