My AU’s Frisk and Chara-

Lore:

Frisk and Chara are two souls of Determination that share one body. Chara is a reincarnated soul, her determination refused to allow her to die so easily, so it bounces from body to body to find the perfect host, like a parasite, and it finally stuck with Frisk.

They go by the monikers Shine (Frisk) and Rain (Chara).

In this AU, they’re young teens (obvi Chara is a lot older than that, but she passed in the underground around that age.)

In this AU, Chara was never friends with Asriel. She lived with Toriel & Asgore for years, but depression took hold from Asgores views, and she ended up taking her own life, wanting a better one. Her DT refused to allow her to fully pass and her spirit remained, as stated above, searching the perfect host to latch to.

Frisk was part of a set of fraternal twins, she absorbed her twin in the womb (Chara’s true host), so in a twisted stage of events, Chara’s soul was left in Frisk’s body. They can both take control of their shared body, but Frisk is in control most of the time, Chara is only visible to her unless she takes control of the body.
