Meet Donovan Murphy, ticket seller and handyman of circus Trinity!

Donovan, or Don, as he insists people call him, is younger than he looks. He grew up in the same town as Daisy and Isabella, and has known them for years. They've never been friends, but when Donovan stumbled into a bad spot he sought out the circus for refuge. He was running from the law, hid in the tent, and hasn't left since. In return for the help they offered him without even knowing anything about him, Don stuck around and helped out with the manual labour and various tasks around the circus.

He refuses to perform, preferring the safety of backstage to the limelight. He doesn't consider himself a part of the show, even though he is very much an integral part of the workings of the circus. Terese taught him to sew, and most of the time he can be found mending costumes, fixing the signs, or counting ticket sales.

Despite feeling like he doesn't belong or deserve the love the others have to offer him, he considers every single one of the clowns his family. Donovan never had a family that cared for him or to care for, so he is very determined to keep this one close by. Maybe in time he'll learn that he is cared for in return.

Meet Jungle Jim, animal expert and lion tamer of circus Trinity!

Jungle Jim is the oldest members of the circus and definitely has the most experience. They started out as a zookeeper working with the big cats and moved on to a travelling fair. Jim's very passionate about taking care of animals and joined the fair when he learned of the terrible conditions those animals lived in, in an attempt to better their living circumstances.

Jim learned of circus Trinity when they passed through town at the same time as the fair. Around that time the fair was facing difficulties with their animals and had to give up that segment of their show, so Jim joined Trinity instead, where they only performed with dogs. After a few years Terese took it upon herself to start creating lifelike puppets of bigger animals to use in the acts as well.

Jim is very kindhearted and protective. They're also incredibly set in their ways and will debate someone into oblivion if they're convinced those people are wrong. A lot of younger members of the circus seek Jim for advice and support, which they are more than willing to offer to help those they care for.

Meet Lilipad! Dancer and local stagehand of circus Trinity!

Lilipad's been visiting the shows for years whenever they passed through her town, often taking her friends and family along for the ride. She's from a very small town and was often one of the only people on the circus benches. When she got older and the circus got more popular their visits through town became scarcer and scarcer. Not wanting to lose that wonder, Lilipad offered herself as a stagehand and jack of all trades to the circus. She was a puruer of odd jobs for a while before slowly getting more and more front and centre on the stage and eventually getting her own act. Lilipad never let go of her small town heritage and takes a large part of the itineraries on her shoulders, making sure every kid far and wide can get an opportunity to see the circus. She's very passionate and kind, but can get extremely stubborn when she doesn't understand someone else's reasoning. She still keeps in touch with her family and often invites her siblings to see the shows.

Meet Bliss Barrow, ribbon dancer of circus Trinity!

When River joined the circus, their twin Bliss couldn't help but join them. While River's passion runs deeper than Bliss's, he's still a fan of performing and making children laugh and marvel at the shows. Bliss used to work a basic office job before joining and only did so because of River and the funds he'd built up at the job. Performing used to be a hobby of his, sometimes gigging at birthday parties or get togethers with his friends. Bliss is naturally very anxious and overly cautious and doesn't often speak up in public settings. Once you get to know him he is deadly funny and can often rival River in jokes. Despite the circus becoming a second family for him River still gets insecure about being one of the main performers of the circus and is afraid he's taking a spot he doesn't deserve. Luckily for him, he is more than loved by every single clown at circus Trinity.

Meet River Barrow, diabolo juggler of circus Trinity!

River is the only clown in the entire circus who actually went to school for circus arts. They did a few years of performance arts and then transferred out of their program to join a circus school. River's always been interested in the circus and learned to juggle when they were a kid. River joined the circus after a few years of gigging around and performing at carnivals and birthday parties. They were looking for something more permanent and the circus stopped by their town at just the right time. River is very cheeky and can often be found with Benny and Daisy plotting pranks on the rest of the circus. They're very talkative but have difficulty understanding and regulating their own emotions and can be quick to lash out. Underneath it all they're a clown with a passion and a heart of gold and a love for making people laugh.

Meet Benny "the jet" Trinity, trapeze artist and local cheeky shit.

Benny is Sonder's cousin, something that came as a surprise to most of the circus since Sonder hardly ever talks about their family. Ever since Sonder joined circus Trinity Benny has been sneaking his way along with them to see the shows and help out backstage. He's been around performers his entire life, just like Sonder, and it didn't take too long for him to get his own part in the show. Benny's very skilled and not at all shy about it. He can come off as cocky and arrogant, but he's got a heart of gold once you get through to it. Avery took a long while to warm up to him because of this, but as cocky as he may be Benny's loyal to a fault and would give the world for those he considers family.

Even though he's still very young (besides Avery he is the youngest member of the circus) Benny can often be found tagging along on Isabella's volunteering. He loves kids and would like to be a teacher once he gets older.
