This my OC, Jaaden Stewart, illustrated by cirenk (@cirenk)! To̅mi visits Jaaden to celebrate with her selling the Xesyn Sapphire to a museum in El Gouna, Egypt. Jaaden's great-grandfather, Alden Stewart, who fought against Barbary Pirates in the Barbary Wars took the Xesyn Sapphire as a trophy after beating her servant at the time, Captain Lalh. Later on, Alden, sensing the danger inherent in the jewel used iron to bezel the sapphire dampening its effects and influence. Jaaden who is unaware of the sapphire's history discovers it in storage and her family gives her their blessing to sell it to a museum to help provide for her monetary future. However, Captain Lalh has returned reanimated and empowered by Xesyn. Lalh seeks to recover the sapphire and summon Xesyn into our world, however, To̅mi and Jaaden won't let that happen.
