hello! i wouldn’t ask if i didn’t need to but as you may or may not have known i have thyroid cancer and the total cost for surgery is around $5550-$6000 which includes the thyroidectomy and the overnight observation. i’ve been paying for my medicine so far but the surgery is much more expensive. my mom’s healthcare plan covers $1500 of the total but as a full time student and only 1 working parent with at the moment (with 3 kids in college and 1 in high school), it’s kind of hard to cover the full cost of the surgery that is going to be performed on May 31st.

im asking for donations and really, any amount would help or just sharing this post would! i will also be working 2 jobs and taking next quarter off to get through the thyroidectomy. thank you so much!

guys i have an interview at a job coming up but im running on nothing, my fridge is empty and there’s 2 cents in my bank account. i am taking care of my baby sister still and we need to eat. i tricked her into going to bed last night w/o dinner because i couldn’t afford it. i don’t even qualify for food stamps. i need some help so so desperately bad just to survive until i can get another job. i am desperate please. please just anything you could throw our way i am hungry and tired and madison is asking me about food and idk what to tell her. I tried to ask her dad for help but he came to our house and got so angry at her that he beat her and choked her and gave her a busted lip and she’s TEN. i will never take money from that man because he’ll use it as an excuse to come here and abuse us even more. im just so so desperate i don’t have anyone to borrow money from and I don’t have a job yet and I don’t know what else to do. my mom can’t even pull her shit together long enough to hold a job and im taking care of her child and it’s just too much. please anything will help anything please please

hi i feel terrible doing this but….we still haven’t paid our rent.

my grandma was sick and in the hospital for a month and seeing as we are her only children we were tasked with taking care of her. i quit my only job to stay at home with her and basically nurse her, for the past two months because she cant even walk anymore. we were changing her, bathing her, the whole nine. none of us even had a bed to sleep on and yet we stayed with her. however, she’s always been spiteful and abusive and she did not want me nor my mom or sister living with her or taking care of her, and she got her sister to come and kick us out of the house.

we are okay, and luckily we didn’t give up our old apartment, but the rent has gotten terribly behind due to the two months we lost taking care of her. our landlord took pity on us while she was sick and allowed us to wait to pay him, but he won’t wait anymore and we got this letter on our door today.

i do not want to be put out. we cannot lose our home. my sister is 9 and she needs a place to stay, even if it is our little one bedroom apartment. especially now, since we have nowhere to go. this was printed on the 15. we likely habe a few days to come up with this money. I have $300 to my name.

my mom has a small business selling clothes on ebay, and she does well, but with my job gone which was our main stable income, we are at a loss.
