Sure was.

Why are you back now?

Good question. I'm honestly not one hundo on that myself. There's a lot about this blog that I'm not proud of. I did not always have the "best take". I was in my early 20's and dumb as hell. But there is a lot I was proud of and, as much as some detractors might not believe it, I did have the best intentions when I was blogging.

And it's not like social justice has been solved in the 7 years I've been gone. Frankly in a lot of ways it's gotten worse. Having a place to share my thoughts, maybe some puff pieces.

Why did you leave?

Some may recall that near the end of my first run I was being brigaded by anons who were sending me stuff that wouldn't be allowed on Tumblr now (and I don't mean female presenting nipples) . And I was just kinda over it.

What have you been up to in the last 7 years?

Oh Bro, so much. I got married (not to the GF, sorry if that ruins your fanfic). I came out as Bisexual. I became polyamourus. I moved around a lot. I started getting therapy. I, you know, matured as a human being.

Is anything going to change about the blog?

Most definitely. Including, but not limited to, the name. I'm trying to find something that matches the energy, but is less combative. Best I've got so far is "Bro-cial Justice Warrior" , which is fine, but not great. Feel free to drop a suggestion.

To all the guys binding this summer

-Jean vests are your best friend they keep you cool and cover your chest.

-Drink large amounts of water. Layers means heat and dehydration.

-If your binder is showing under your tank top, nobody cares. They’ll probably assume its an undershirt or none of their business.

-This wont be forever. One day you will never have to bind again and you’ll be able to swim, run, and wear what ever you want. Keep on keeping on.

sometimes i’m like “why am i still here” but then i realize that i’m often the only person who is around to take bad-to-eat stuff out of my dog’s mouth and i think there’s this sort of western idea of “if youre not CEO youre nothing special” but my dog is still alive bc of me and i’m still alive bc of other people so maybe i’m just here to pet cats and wear sweaters and help people take the glass out of their mouth. you know? maybe i won’t be CEO but maybe i’ll be able to help somebody afford their trip home. and i think that’s pretty okay, you know?

Although I would like to point out something about the girl who got charges for miscarrying. Articles say she had a premature live baby after taking abortion pills and left it in a dumpster. She's not innocent. If it's even real. No real news websites have posted articles so I'm thinking it's just gross satire anyway.

20 years in prison after having a miscarriage

On Monday an Indiana court sentenced Purvi Patel, a 33-year-old who says she suffered a miscarriage in 2013, to 20 years in prison, making her the first woman in America to be convicted of feticide. The courts essentially used laws meant to protect women against her.

Debunked? No. Not a fact? Certainly. My research has told me that most of Acadamia has let it fall by the wayside. But historical theories that far back are nearly impossible to fully disprove because we can’t actually see what the world was like back then.
