Why captain is so important in Dota 2
What is the best in the world of captains, what is not the rest? Why is everyone inspired by Clement Puppey Ivanov and Johan BigDaddy N0tail Sandstein? More let's try to understand this article.
You ask yourself: who are the best captains? Who are the players who, despite the difficulties and changes in the composition still reach the top? Players like xiao8, fy or KuroKy immediately come to mind, but what distinguishes them from the rest?
There is a reason why the names of these players have become well known. These names associate themselves with the very inception of the professional scene in Dota 2. Other people come and go, but these people have passed the test of time.
Leadership
Leadership is a very broad term. People with this quality are not necessarily those players or teams that have the status of legends, which we praise over others. MiSeRy is an excellent and strict leader. Cr1t in one of his interviews while they were both playing Evil Geniuses, described him as a dominant leader. EternalEnvy, for example, is known as the leader who commands everything in the game. However, all these players have not yet achieved anything significant in their careers.
The word “leadership” can mean everything from just talking about tactics during the game and up to some moments of support for non-game players. All players often say how important it is to be able to communicate effectively with their team mates, that team dynamics make them healthy and positive. Kingrd from paiN Gaming recently said how their game changed for the better after MiSeRy came to the post of command.
So, what makes the Puppey or n0tail the best leaders of all time? This is not just the ability to lead a team or friends, it is the ability to lead anyone. Puppey in Team Secret for the entire existence of the team played with 19 teammates, not including stand-ins. N0tail in OG - 12 and so far both captains are looking for the greatest success.

New Stars of Dota 2: Armel
Armel: new abed?
Abed Abed Jusop is perhaps the best Filipino player at the moment. Only Marc Polo Louis Raven Fausto can compete with him. However, novices are not the only talented players in this region. In fact, the Philippines is known for having several young talents who are among the best in Dota 2 around the world.
One of them is Armel Paul Armel Tabios. While Abed and Raven already have a reputation outside the Southeast Asian region, Armel is only making its breakthrough.
Beautiful game Armel on Mirana
Raven left TNC Predator to join Chong Xin Ohaiyo Hu in Team Lotac before the season began. This is an ideal opportunity for Armel to concentrate on getting the title of one of the best players in the Philippines.
The Kuala Lumpur Major
Many Southeast Asian experts think that the TNC Pro Team is the best team in the region, even better than Fnatic. At The Kuala Lumpur Major they will have a chance to prove it. Armel is very important for this purpose. He needs to fill the space after leaving Raven. He has repeatedly argued that he could lead the team.
Armel on Drow Ranger
In combination with talented teammates such as Kim Villafuerte Gabbi / cb Santos or Michael ningaboogie Ross, Armel is all in his hand and he can become the best Filipino in Major and help the TNC Pro Team win the event.

New Stars of Dota 2: miCKe
miCKe: Alliance youth
Alliance is back, that's a fact! After almost a year without international success, Alliance still managed to qualify for The Kuala Lumpur Major. The reason for this was the decision of the Swedish organization to assemble a new composition without stellar veterans.
Michael miCKe Wu, one of the most talented Swedish players, became part of this roster. Alliance is the first haven of miCKe as a professional player. The legend Alliance and Dota as a whole - Jonathan Loda Berg - played shoulder to shoulder with him at the WESG 2017 in the European finals. Four days later, a 19-year-old player joined the Alliance organization.
He must also prove that he is able to compete with the best of the best on his line. Perhaps Alliance could be the perfect place for him in this regard. Loda is a coach who helps the team and teaches them, as well as prompts in draft.
Alliance Highlights with Open Qualifications to The International 2018
The Swedish organization has been trusting miCKe and its teammates for more than six months, despite the fact that the squad has not won anything big. This helps the team to remain calm and develop new skills. With the new team, miCKe can concentrate on their style of play and make Sweden and Alliance successful again.
