watching foolish's vods and am obssessed with the dynamic between him and DreamXD. it's eddie and venom. it's some poor intern sucking up to his all-powerful boss hoping he'll get a raise. DreamXD is just shittalking Bad when he can't hear him and Foolish finds it hilarious. Foolish made a your mom joke and DreamXD laughed at it. DreamXD said "people do cool stuff sometimes. i like it when they kill people" and Foolish said, "uh... is that something... i should be doing... more of?"

I can already see the many rants they would make about how this "makes no sense" or that "it was OOC" or how it ruined their ship. I don't have anything against the XDNF shippers but my god do most of them not have a right to talk about whats OOC or not.

Also so many people (mostly them honestly because some of them genuinely believe there's a "main character" or that certain people are more important than others) just. Refuse to look at or watch or even read summaries about characters that aren't their faves and then get upset or mad when it doesn't "make sense to the storyline". Like. My guy. You have been watching through a single characters' POV this entire time when there's an entire server. The world doesn't revolve around a single character, especially when other characters are involved as well. They have relationships and stories outside of whatever ur fave is at the moment

Literally. I legit saw someone who said they were hyperventilating and that their chest hurt from breathing too hard because of how distressed the dsmp finale made them feel. Like, i don't want to be rude but...if a thing you're attached to having a bad ending that you didn't like causes you so much distress that it physically hurts you, i don't think you should be in the fandom space. This is the same person who said something like " i will only forgive cc!Tommy if he PUBLICLY APOLOGIZES for all the hurt he has caused for the finale" or something similar to that. Like?? He didn't do anything?? He just helped to write a shitty finale! It's not his fault people consume media so unhealthily that they get PANIC ATTACKS from it. Media(unless it's specifically made to make you feel that way,like horror) is NOT supposed to make you feel distressed. You're supposed to have fun consuming media. If something causes you harm, STOP CONSUMING IT. (this isn't to say you can't criticize dsmp or the finale. I do my fair share of it. Nothing is immune to criticism and it SHOULDN'T be, but this doesn't apply in a situation where it causes you genuine harm. Curate your own online experience. Find media you actually enjoy. ALSO. maybe don't act as if you know Content Creators personally and that they disappointed you and ruined your "trust" because they wrote something you didn't like?? Hello? Parasocial much?)

If you got triggered by the dsmp finale reevaluate that is not healthy andyou shouldnt be in the fandom space if it is actively hurting you. not everything can be tailored to your experiences, you are not the center of the world. plenty of victims found solace in the ending and you are being embarrassing by going on eight page dissertations about it like oh my god shut up and go watch something else if you hate it so much

THANK YOU. i don't have a problem with seeing cdream as a human. I have a problem with the implication that because of the reset they can just all be friends again. He pretends to be god, but he's a human and hes horrible. "it made ctommy the bigger person" well man FUCK "being a bigger person" by forgiving and "understanding" your abusers. The only way cdream should be understood is by being studied in a lab

the thing is i understand seeing cdream’s humanity but it Needs to come with the realisation that really he’s just a shitty guy. like understanding that he did this because he was “lonely” Should lead you to the conclusion that. he’s just a really pathetic guy and he did horrible things. and his motivation Explain those actions but it doesnt fucking excuse the emotional & physical abuse, murder, torture, kidnapping, human experimentation, destroying people’s homes, etc etc. like it’s almost laughable how ridiculous it is for him to have done because Aw he wanted friends. and i think that ridiculousness is a big part of realising cdream’s humanity and how he’s really not some Big Bad Villain who has Everything planned out. he’s just a really shitty guy who has done horrible things because he was lonely i fucking guess. it takes down this god-complex/omniscient-mastermind façade he’s presented himself under. he’s not a god; he’s an abuser and a fucking asshole with no regard for others. Since everyone is being cryptic about calling the nukes "the incident" and with the fact that the egg stuff must have happened at about the same time as the nukes (maybe? surely it didn't happen after the nukes?) and we still have at least two more character finales to go, my theory is that every character finale ends in a different world ending event and it was the combination of like 50 different things that gave everyone amnesia and popped them into a new world

It only mattered because TOMMY was the one who did it. He equated all forms of torture,murder, stalking to THAT. The people saying "oh but it shows tommy is better than dream because he felt bad at the end about the nuke unlike dream who doesn't feel bad" well man FUCK forgiveness and understanding to the people who abused you. They don't DESERVE to be forgiven or understood. c!dream should only be "understood" by being studied in a goddamn lab cuz he's insane.
