Tumblr media
Having a simple illness like cold, flu or fever is enough to ruin your mood, your day and everything. But let us think that there are those people who is suffering not a physical illness but mental illness, in which they are distracted mentally by the thoughts that their head is continuously thinking, trauma of the past or even the current situations they are facing.
Over the years the number of people who is suffering from any mental conditions including having the anxiety or depression is increasing. According to Cuevas (2021) over 3.6 million Filipinos suffers from mental, neurological and substance use disorder not just pure adult but also teenagers or millenials like us.
Lets us talk about the causes or trigger of why someone is having this cases of their lives. The past is a big role on what we are today. If something bad happens to us back then a trauma is likely to be formed making that someone to have an mental issue when he/she grows up. For some millenials their stress and anxiety is just new in which case formed during just this times of pandemic because of the pressure of academic responsibilities and the pressure of thia pandemic, that they need to be functional in this times. Academic Stress is what they called when someone is feelings stressed by the academic responsibilities they have.
There is always a bad effect of stress and anxiety, specially the millenials the effect is 100% visible. Change of mood and personality, people who is having stress and anxiety if often scene just lonely and afraid of socializing. They are not the people whom we met before, there are sudden change of their personalities for example from talkative to silent, from approachable to being shy type. Moods suddenly changed also mainly because of the sudden thoughts that is going through their head like "why" questions. Poor academic performance is also one of the things that millenials may face if they are stressed or having a anxiety. Concentration on doing something is hard for them.
There are many ways on coping up with this condition. Find someone to talk to, whom you can share your thoughts and feelings. Take a rest from everything bothering you in this world and also have time for yourself to ponder. We filipinos are fighters, we face and fight everything that is in our way. One day light will glow in the dark game your mind is playing and by that day i know that everything is gonna be okay. Keep on pushing, little by little you are going forward to the days you will see yourself in a paradise.

I like biking it has been one of my hobbies since grade 10 and now that we are in this situation its been a while since i travel with my bike. I also like playing mobile games and watching movies specially MCU movies. Personally I think i see my self as a jolly, talkative, friendly, and trustworthy.
Being in a relationship for me now is not the right timing although ive been through with someone but i personally think that educational responsibilities is far more important this days. Specially we are in senior high school.
Someday i want to be a engineer, electrical or communication engineer to be specific after i finished my study i plan to go and live in Canada. But in order for this to happen i need to work hard to ace all the subjects and problems that may come in my way, gathering, studying and applying all the teaching i have learned to every people around me.

Dealing with Stress and Anxiety for better living.
Tumblr media
Considering the years when Covid-19 pandemic is issued. Many things have been changed, many things have been effected like our social life, our financial status, business and specially our health not just physically but also mentally.
COVID-19 infections in the Philippines have reached 1,149,925 cases as of May 17. The pandemic is unfolding simultaneously with the growing number of Filipinos suffering from mental health issues. At least 3.6 million Filipinos suffer from mental, neurological, and substance use disorders, according to Frances Prescila Cuevas, head of the National Mental Health Program under the Department of Health.
As mentioned many is suffering from mental instability not just our middle aged man but specially our millenials. According to Omengan (2020) Depression and anxiety are on the rise among millennials as they face the pressure to perform and be functional amid pandemic fatigue.
As result millenials are having a what so called academic stress it is a state when students are having hard time in coping up in schools, hard time in doing activities or even having a hard time socializing not just like before.
KVC Kansas mentioned in their blog that Research shows that academic stress leads to less well-being and an increased likelihood of developing anxiety or depression. Additionally, students who have academic stress tend to do poorly in school. This shows how this stress can keep kids from doing as well as they could.
Here are some other effects of having a academic stressed combined with a anxiety.Basing from the blog written by the IBCCES students who is suffering from this mental cases is often not in the mood they are always silent and not to talkative. Second is they will have a social and behavioral problem which is the reason they are rarely seen talking to people. Lastly is poor self care practices and low self esteem, anxiety makes people to see their self as a low class people where they feel shy, always afraid on meeting or talking to people while on the sf exercise they intend to do things that are not good for their health like their eating schedules or they may have sleeping disorder which then causes bad effects for their health.
Tumblr media
We can deal with this with anxiety and stress by doing things just like what ADAA (2021) mentioned in their blog which are:
Get enough sleep
Take deep breaths
Do your best - dont aim for perfection instead be thankful you did your best and got close to what you want
Take a time out from everything
Have time for youself
Talk to someone- if you fe that your having a breakdown talking to someone can relieve the sadness or the emotion you are holding.
While its true that fighting over this things with yourself alone is hard we know that we can always get over it.

Just like the sunrise a paradise can be seen after the darkness. A light can be seen after the long hours of darkness. There is always a way and a time for people to see their own paradise, their own happiness.
