🕵️‍♀️💀 BREAKING: Anonymous Journalist “Go Press Girl” Found Dead in SIngapore 🌍🔥
Singapore , 17 May 2025 — The world is reeling after the shocking death of “Go Press Girl,” an anonymous investigative journalist famed for exposing government corruption and illegal surveillance. Found dead in an Istanbul Airbnb, officials call it “suicide due to burnout,” but supporters and observers smell something far darker. However, nothing conclusive have been reported as of yet.
As we close this chapter on the tragic death of Go Press Girl, we pause to honor not just the journalist, but the fearless spirit behind the mask of anonymity. She risked everything to shine a light on truths many wanted hidden, reminding us all of the vital role of a free press in holding power accountable.
Though her voice has been silenced, her impact echoes across borders, inspiring a new generation of journalists, activists, and citizens to stand firm in the face of intimidation and danger. Today, we remember her courage, her conviction, and her unwavering dedication to justice.
Her passing is a solemn reminder of the cost borne by those who dare to speak truth to power. As we mourn her loss, we must also renew our commitment to protect and support those who continue this critical work.
Go Press Girl’s legacy will live on—not just in headlines, but in the hearts and actions of all who believe that no one should suffer in silence. May her memory fuel our pursuit of a more transparent, just, and free world.
— Rest in power.

🧨☕ SPAIN’S ABOUT TO BOMB MOROCCO OVER A DEAD JOURNALIST, A SUSPICIOUS TEA LATTE, AND A CHINESE HOODIE — A CONCERNING RUMOUR 💀🇪🇸🇲🇦
Geneva, 18 May 2025 —
We might have entered the beginning of World War 3 folks!, and it’s giving geo-political fever dream. Spanish journalist Diego Esteban Lopez — aka fearless, UN-affiliated, and tragically too real — has been found dead in Rabat, Morocco, just days after calling the country “a bit loco” on a panel about press freedom. His final sip? A Starbucks Hojicha Tea Latte, made with love and maybe a little bit of poison, delivered by a dude in a CGTN hoodie. 🫖👀
Morocco says: “He died of stress. 💅”
Spain says: “That was murder. 🧨”
Twitter says: “What the ACTUAL—⁉️💀”
Diego was working on an exposé called “The Dragon in the Desert” 🐉, allegedly uncovering China-Morocco surveillance collabs targeting journalists. Now, the footage is leaked, the tea’s suspect, and Spain’s out here possibly drafting a plan to launch precision military strikes on Moroccan surveillance facilities.
Rumour has it Morocco might turn into North Africa’s next headline war.
And just when you think it couldn’t get messier — enter 🇨🇳 China, slow-blinking from the sidelines like:
“We don’t know the man in the hoodie. CGTN merch is… common.”
If these rumours are true, what will the UNHRC do? Pick the most probable option!
A) ✋ Immediate ceasefire
B) 🔍 Demand for a third-party investigation
C) 📣 Journalist protections
D) 🧊Cooling down Spain before someone actually gets hit by a drone
E) ☕️ Sit still and sip tea and have no draft resolution whatsoever! ✅
In short (allegedly):
Spain = 🔥
Morocco = 😤
China = 😶
UNHRC = 🫣
The rest of us = 🍿
So yeah.
A journalist is dead. A latte might’ve been laced. Spain might have got their jets warming up. And world peace might come down to a hoodie and a hashtag.
#Don’tBombTheTea
(Please pray for me 😢 i think there is someone watching me)
XOXO
Go Press Girl

📰 Thai Journalist Vanishes After Dragging China’s Media Ops 😶📡 — North Macedonia Furious, Thailand Panicking, UNHRC Unwell
Geneva, 18 May 2025 — A Thai journalist, Chantana Bhoonya, just vanished in Nairobi after publishing a savage exposé on China’s growing grip over African media , and the UNHRC is in full crisis mode, sipping lukewarm diplomatic Starbies while everything burns. 🔥🍵
The journalist was part of a wholesome little collab between Thailand and North Macedonia — an initiative to boost independent journalism in developing regions. Cute, right? Until she exposed how CGTN Africa (China’s state media branch) has been allegedly funneling money to local outlets to block negative coverage of Belt and Road projects. 💸🚫📰
Then? Poof. Vanished. Like free speech in an authoritarian state. 🕳️💨
🎤 North Macedonia is absolutely DONE. They marched into the UNHRC and dropped a line so cold it made the entire UNHRC shiver:
“Be careful with what you say.”
Meanwhile, the Thai delegation is giving “we’re deeply concerned but please don’t crash our trade deals” energy.
😶 China, obviously, called the exposé “ideologically motivated” and accused North Macedonia of meddling. Classic denial arc i say! Did we expect anything different?
💬 Eritrea chimed in (unprompted) to say the West is “weaponizing journalism again” — which sounds like a bar… but also like deflection. (Please don’t make me the next Clevé Chevalier)
Now social media’s blowing up with the hashtag #WhereIsShe! Will Ms Bhoonya be found? is this just another episode of “Journalist Disappears While UNHRC Sips Water and Pretends It’s Fine™️”? 👺
“Truth Doesn’t Disappear — People Do.” I sure hope i don’t!
XOXO,
Go Press Girl!

📰 China: “We Respect Censored Freedom of Expression” 😶📵 — UNHRC Confused, Shakespeare Shook
Geneva, 18 May 2025 — In a moment that stunned the UNHRC into near-comic silence, the delegate of China boldly declared:
“We respect freedom of expression. We also respect CENSORED FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION in our fellow African states.”
No clarifications. No follow-up. Just raw, passionate, unfiltered authoritarian poetry. Even Shakespeare is quaking in his boots right now. 🫣✍️
This gem of a quote lands right in the middle of a full-blown press freedom meltdown: Morocco’s under fire after journalist Diego Esteban Lopez mysteriously died following a viral roast of their regime (“a bit loco,” he said; now he’s a bit… gone 💀).
And now? China’s out here not only defending censorship , but respecting it! Did we expect anything less? 🙈
💬 Eritrea praised China’s “balanced media partnerships,” saying each country has “its own truth.” Whatever that means. (100% not referencing the dead journalist in Asmara of course) 🧘‍♂️
🔥 South Africa, on the other hand, wasn’t having it — calling China’s comment “the most polite endorsement of repression we’ve heard this year,” and demanding a UNHRC probe into foreign influence in African media.
Censorship is out here serving soft power realness — with poisoned tea, a press badge, and a CGTN hoodie.
Stay tuned. If you still have internet. 📶✌️
(Please do not kill me i love China ❤️)

THE UNHRC DISCUSSION AS FAR
Name: Scott Chin
Press agency: Xinhua News Agency
Council: UNHRC
Topic: UNHRC thus far
The UNHRC discusses the topic of the freedom of press, freedom of expression, Thus far, there has been significant developments in the UNHRC council. As far, Russia, Kenya, and North Macedonia have expressed their stances toward the RABAT (MOROCCO) and KEISHA (JAPAN) plan.
Russia expresses its disdain toward both the RABAT plan and the KEISHA plan, but expresses its willingness to adopt certain parts of the RABAT plan. Kenya and North Macedonia want to adopt both the RABAT and KEISHA plan and use them together. The situation seems to be getting dicey with the new information released— that Morocco and Germany are censoring journalists. Additionally, Spain has also suggested a new plan for the creation of an international law to manage censorship. Unprecedentedly, Bangladesh and Vietnam have also stepped up and expressed its favour toward the RABAT plan. Bangladesh has also expressed its dissatisfaction toward Spain’s plan and the KEISHA plan. In general, there has been no change in the main BLOCS in this council, as both the RABAT and KEISHA plans are still dominating discussions.
In conclusion, the UNHRC council is still on the first topic on censorship and has been making slow but noticeable progress on the issue of freedom of press, and is slowly starting to cover the topic of impunity.

📰 Journalist Dies After Saying “Morocco a Bit Loco” — China Denies Involvement Despite Hoodie 👀
Geneva, 17 May 2025 —
Diego Esteban Lopez, a respected Spanish UN-affiliated journalist, has been found dead in his hotel room in Rabat just two days after jokingly calling Morocco “a bit loco” during a panel on press freedom. While the Moroccan government insists it was “stress-induced cardiac failure,” leaked footage shows a mysterious man in a CGTN (China Global Television Network) hoodie delivering Lopez’s final cup of Starbucks’ Hojicha Tea Latte. Suspicious? Extremely. 👺
Lopez, known for fearless reporting, was in Morocco investigating alleged media censorship and foreign influence — particularly China’s growing role in shaping African newsrooms. His final, unfinished report titled “The Dragon in the Desert” reportedly exposed surveillance partnerships between Moroccan authorities and Chinese state media. 🐉
Online, the hashtags #JusticeForDiego and #MoroccoABitLoco are trending, while journalists around the world mourn with blacked-out profile pics and strong VPNs. 💔
UNHRC, Particularly Spain, now faces a choice: investigate and bring justice for Señor Lopez or quietly sip their own poisoned Starbies⭐️
Stay tuned. This tea isn’t cooling down anytime soon. ☕🔥

Name: Liu Dongling Gavin
Press agency: Africa News
Council: UNHRC
Topic: Impunities against journalists
The UNHRC council has been moving on from the first stage of the discussion which is censorship laws redefined, now they are discussing about the issue of impunity. Now halfway through, many of the delegates have a consensus: The human rights of journalists must be accounted for.
Morocco has pushed a solution called NAH. It stands for N-non disclosure agreements, A- Act 17- espionage act and H- Human rights. It has garnered the support of many delegates though some may not agree with one term of the solution.
Delegate of Indonesia has expressed his concern over the non disclosure agreement as the way it is implemented raises concern and affect the freedom of press for journalists. Many other solutions have been raised but they require more support and clarity to be agreed upon by the council. African news proudly mentions the involvement of African countries actively participating and proposing solutions to ensure the freedom of the press in this region.

💀📰Journalist “Mysteriously” Dies in Eritrea… and Everyone’s Playing Dumb *SHOCKED!*
Geneva, 17 May 2025 —
A UN-affiliated journalist has turned up dead in Asmara, and Eritrea’s official explanation? “Gang-related.” … Right. Because Eritrea is famously known for its gang problem and not, you know, press crackdowns 🙃🔍 *side eye*
The journalist, who was working with the UN’s Press Freedom Sentinel project, Clevé Chevaliér (pronounced Clee-vey she-vah-Li-eyre) had reportedly been receiving threats from Eritrean security officials. But sure, totally a random gang incident. Must’ve been those “Freedom of Information Gangsters” again. 🚬😤
Mr Chevaliér’s partner Alex Bonjour was seen exclaiming , “ MY CLEVER CLEVÉ MURDERED CUZ HE WAS TOO CLEVER!” while drowning themselves in 3 bottles of wine 🍷
Twitter is already blowing up with hashtags like #AsmaraAin’tSafe. Protesters are demanding an international inquiry, sanctions, and someone to finally explain why the UN keeps giving council seats to countries who treat journalists like punchlines. 😢
And while delegates argue over “due process,” journalists worldwide are just out here updating their wills. ☝️😔
🎙️ Reminder to all press in the room: stay hydrated, stay furious, and maybe don’t check your phone without a VPN.

✨🧃EXTRA! EXTRA! JOURNALISTS DRAG UNHRC OUTSIDE ITS OWN BUILDING 💅
Geneva, 17 May 2025 —
Looks like the press is pressing back 😤. Today, reporters ditched their notepads and brought the drama straight to the UNHRC’s front steps — and boy , was it so messy.
Armed with, signs, and side-eyes, journalists staged a surprise protest shouting “My phone, mine alone!” 🗞️📣 One group even held a mock “funeral” for press freedom, complete with black veils and a coffin made of burnt USB sticks. Iconic i say!. 💀💾
Inside the UNHRC? *cricket noises* Germany looked like they were trying to disappear into their suits. Morocco? The heat is on. Following global outrage MOROCCO has finally broken its silence , claiming the spyware was “used responsibly” and only for security purposes. (Translation: “Yes, we spied. But nicely.”) 🙃 Hmm. What an odd thing to say? 🥸
Isn’t spying a crime? Isn’t infringing on the basic human rights of privacy morally wrong? Or does it make it right cuz Morocco said so?
Word is, Spain and China deeply oppose they use of spyware 👀 interesting, coming from the state who has been accused of inventing Pokémon Go to collect data from other nations
One thing’s for sure:
👀 Journalists came with receipts and rage!
And the UNHRC? Better wake up and DO SOMETHIN. FAST!🤬🤬🤬🤬

🚨 Pegasus Scandal: Germany and Morocco Exposed for Spying on Journalists☝️😡
Geneva, 17 May 2025 —
A UNHRC whistleblower has dropped a digital bombshell: Germany and Morocco have allegedly used Pegasus spyware to secretly track journalists investigating corruption and foreign lobbying 🤯
The leaked documents reveal that reporters from Al Jazeera, Der Spiegel, and even UN-linked outlets were targeted. Phones were hacked, messages were intercepted, and sources were compromised , all under the guise of “national security, a likely story 👀
Germany and Morocco have yet to comment on this scandal, we wonder why…. One thing is for sure, press freedom groups are furious.
Is this counter-terrorism… or just state-sponsored snooping? 🤔
Stay tuned. This council session just got a lot more interesting. 🎤💥

CJMUN officially begins!
By Ethan Lim, British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC)
CJMUN officially commenced today, with a brief welcome address from Secretaries-General Neha Johl and Yang Zhihe, who have addressed the meaning and effort behind CJMUN and expressed the hope of CJMUN continuing to be a force for perseverance and critical thinking.
The choice for the various councils has been heavily linked to topics relevant in our current world, and a view into the decision-making of the past through the Crisis Council simulating the American Civil War.
The Secretaries-General also addressed the urgency of CJMUN to make the delegates aware of current affairs and not to be in the dark about what happens in global issues
The Principal of Catholic Junior College, Mrs Woo, also gave a short address, in which she raised her appreciation of how MUN operated and the lessons she learnt that she later applied in her teaching. She emphasised that the delegates would need to champion and convince people of their causes that they would be raising over these two days, as well as to be active learners and develop their public speaking skills.
Finally, the Secretaries-General and Mrs Woo came together to hit their gavels to officially open CJMUN.
We wish all the delegates the best in the exciting MUN ahead!
