Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers - Young Teku Members Photoshoot Fan-Art (April 2025)
Hello there everyone and welcome (back) to my Tumblr account! I apologize for the lack of art-related posts for the past month, but I’ve been busy working on perfecting this particular fan-art drawing I am showcasing today (and playing Minecraft with my friends). I have been very interested and invested in the “Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers” movie series and I plan on making more fan-art for the films, including today’s post.
I was scrolling Pinterest looking for some drawing inspiration when I came across a photo that I used as a reference (third slide) for this particular piece. The reference image seems to be of a photoshoot and I thought it would be fun to play with the idea of the young Teku members having their photos taken for some special event. This fan-art drawing took me forty-eight hours to complete and was created using the app “Procreate”. I used this particular piece as practice with using real-life references for my drawings and to improve upon my shading/lighting skills. Overall, I had a lot of fun while working on this drawing and I hope you all enjoy the finished product as much as I do!
I still have a long way to go in my artistic journey, but I’m pretty proud with myself for how this drawing turned out. I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day and thank you so much for taking the time to check out my art!

Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers - Vert Wheeler Profile Picture Fan-Art (March 2025)
Hello there everyone and welcome to my Tumblr account! I apologize for having been absent from posting for a rather long time, but I’m finally returning with a new fan-art drawing for my favorite movie series, “Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers”. I know it may be a bit cliche, but Vert Wheeler is one of my favorite characters from the series and he’s extremely entertaining to draw. I’ve been using the same profile picture for my art social media accounts for a rather long time now and I wanted to update it to incorporate one of my favorite interests. I hope to continue making more “Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers” fan-art in the future, for anyone who may be interested in seeing more from me. I usually stick to drawing portraits/headshots (mainly from a front-facing view), but I wanted to branch out a little bit and try drawing something more dynamic. I’m still not confident in my ability to draw anatomy properly, so I haven’t drawn any semi-body or full-body drawings, but this art piece was a step in the right direction. The majority of the sketch was easy enough to draw, but I did struggle with drawing Vert’s hair from this particular angle. I actually used a 3D modeling app called “Nomad” on my new iPad to better arrange the major hair pieces to fit the angle of my drawing. While there are some areas I need to improve on, I’m pretty proud with how this fan-art drawing turned out! I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day and thank you so much for taking the time to check out my art!

Hello there! Recently, I posted fan-art drawings of Lani Tam, Brian Kadeem, Dr. Peter Tezla, Gelorum, and Major Wheeler from the Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers movie series, now today I am posting another fan-art drawing for the series, but this time it is of Nolo's brother, Tone Pasaro. About a year ago, I rewatched some movies from my childhood, those of which being the Hot Wheels: World Race movie and the Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers movies. I was going through a depressive slump during that time and watching those movies really helped with easing my troubled mental state. I didn't anticipate how much of an impact these movies would have on me, but I am glad they did, nonetheless. By watching these movies, they had helped me to once again get back into drawing and making art. For this particular post (my twenty-third post on this account), I made a fan-art drawing of Tone Pasaro. To be completely honest, I didn’t have any difficulties with this drawing. I didn’t have to struggle with drawing hair for this particular piece and I was able to use Nolo’s facial features as a reference when designing it out. I wanted to share this fan-art drawing with all of those who are also interested in the movie series. Thank you for taking the time to view my post and I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day!

For this particular post (my twenty-second post on this account), I made a fan-art drawing of Major Wheeler. There’s not too much to comment on regarding this particular drawing. I did have some difficulty finding real-life reference photos for his hair style, meaning I had to try and guess what it would look like drawn in my style. I’m not thrilled with how his hair turned out, but I can’t figure out any other way to possibly draw it. Nonetheless, I hope you all still like this piece. I wanted to share this fan-art drawing with all of those who are also interested in the movie series. Thank you for taking the time to view my post and I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day!

Honestly, there’s not much to say about my process with this particular drawing. I enjoyed the process of drawing out the lettering on her collar/necklace and the little markings on her face. I had to tweak her hair a couple of times, but nothing too major had to be fixed. I wanted to share this fan-art drawing with all of those who are also interested in the movie series. Thank you for taking the time to view my post and I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day!

For this particular post (my twentieth post on this account), I made a fan-art drawing of Dr. Peter Tezla. I tried my best to make his hair style accurate to his AcceleRacers design, but during the frustrating process, I contemplated on just going with his World Race design instead. Eventually, I did end up with a hair style design similar to his AcceleRacers design, unfortunately I don't feel like it's my best work, but I hope you all still like it. I wanted to share this fan-art drawing with all of those who are also interested in the movie series. Thank you for taking the time to view my post and I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day!

Hello there! Recently, I posted fan-art drawings of all of the Teku and Metal Maniacs team members from the Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers movie series, now today I am posting another fan-art drawing for the series, but this time it is of Lani Tam from the Acceledrome Crew. About a year ago, I rewatched some movies from my childhood, those of which being the Hot Wheels: World Race movie and the Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers movies. I was going through a depressive slump during that time and watching those movies really helped with easing my troubled mental state. By watching these movies, they had helped me to once again get back into drawing and making art. For this particular post (my eighteenth post on this account), I made a fan-art drawing of Lani Tam. I am also including in this post not only a more accurate hairstyle for her character, but an alternate potential hairstyle that I drew up for her design. I found a reference image on Pinterest and thought that it would fit her style and personality perfectly! I wanted to share this fan-art drawing with all of those who are also interested in the movie series. Thank you for taking the time to view my post and I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day!

Hello there! While this post may be a little belated, I currently do not have any new Hot Wheels character designs completed and ready to post, so I opted to share this particular art piece instead. The images posted alongside this description are of a Christmas ornament I created for the 2024 winter holiday season. The ornament showcases a painted and coloured pencil design of two Northern Cardinals and mistletoe. After I completed a rough sketch, I used acrylic paint for the majority of the ornament and then went in with coloured pencils to create some lighting, shading, and a feather-like texture pattern on the birds. I'm actually, surprisingly, pretty pleased with how the design came out in the end! I also got to display this ornament on my Christmas tree for the month of December in 2024! Thank you so much for taking the time to view my post and I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day!

Hello there! Recently, I posted fan-art drawings of Mark Wylde, Taro Kitano, Tork Maddox, and Monkey (Mitchell McClurg) from the Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers movie series, now today I am posting another fan-art drawing for the series, but this time it is of Pork Chop (Deezel Riggs). For this particular post (my sixteenth post on this account), I made a fan-art drawing of Pork Chop (Deezel Riggs). While drawing this particular piece, I had to tweak his hairline multiple times until I found a design I was somewhat happy with (found one that was better than the other iterations). Something still seems off about the drawing, but I can't place my finger on it. I'm just glad that I finally have all of the members of the two major racing teams completed. I wanted to share this fan-art drawing with all of those who are also interested in the movie series. Thank you for taking the time to view my post and I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day!

Initially, I struggled with imagining how his hair would look and how to draw the perspective/flow of his hair, since the majority of it is always covered by his hat in the movies, but I don’t think it turned out too bad in the end. Fortunately, even if it didn’t turn out too great, it would still be mostly covered by his hat in the end product of the drawing. I wanted to share this fan-art drawing with all of those who are also interested in the movie series. Thank you for taking the time to view my post and I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day!

Hello there! Recently, I posted four fan-art drawings of Josef "Vert" Wheeler, Nolo Pasaro, Shirako Takamoto, and Karma Eiss from the Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers movie series, now today I am posting another fan-art drawing for the series, but this time it is of Kurt Wylde. For this particular post (my eleventh post on this account), I made a fan-art drawing of Kurt Wylde. This drawing of Kurt Wylde is the last profile drawing of the Teku members line-up drawings that I have been working on. The next few drawings that I will work on for this series will be the members of the Metal Maniacs. I was able to create a rough outline of the general hair shape while sketching, but it took me some time to create a somewhat accurate design of his spiked hair when in the finishing stages of the drawing. I wanted to share this fan-art drawing with all of those who are also interested in the movie series.
