I invite Good Omens fans to join me in Cabin Pressure Advent starting today.

“Which what now?” you ask.

Cabin Pressure Advent. Cabin Pressure was a BBC Radio 4 comedy written by John Finnemore (I see the light begin to dawn) and its very final episode was to premiere on December 23.

I don’t know which fan realized that if you started listening to each episode in order on November 28 you’d cue yourself up perfectly for Zurich but it ripped through fandom. There is a calendar. Each day the inestimable @tealin drew a new sketch.

About 5 days in, John Finnemore himself discovered it, about died of joy, and wrote a memory about each episode on his tumblr.

That was… oh, golly, I don’t want to look it up. A long time ago.

But I put a reminder in my phone all the same. And now, I invite all the new Good Omens fans to join me.
