I finally fucking understand color. Took years but now I get that color isn’t anything but the way that two things interact and dance together. And the emotion they bring from said interaction, to feel disgust is to clash, to feel harmony is to be like, to dance is to spark thought. I’m finally not afraid of my next action because I’m not thinking about my next action I am in action. Paint is cool yea, omaha is also so grey like damn

This was the first piece I made after a while of not painting, in many ways an expulsion and clearing of my brain. I really hate myself and everything I see (maybe a result of social media) but I really love painting, I hope I can do it more now, I’m lucky to be able to make paintings for people for money but honestly I don’t mind spending all of my money I have on paint supplies and canvases because at least I’ll be happy and can make things for myself.

This piece represents the chattering buzzes and blurs of thought that constantly go and go like the stereo. Bright, dull, sharp, round, formed, and boundless.
