Hey Beautiful!
I made my fav Starbucks drink at home today to accompany my summer reading: Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis. It was a super easy recipe that a friend of mine told me about....it’s amazing!
Doesn’t this matcha powder pic look so fresh and delicious? :) I hope your summer has been both productive and fun!
Ciao, Loves!

July 2017 Updates
So I am nearly finished with my summer US History course. Until my first semester at the university begins, I have compiled a little “todo” list for the rest of this summer. I hope you enjoy!
Crash Course YouTube Vids; https://www.youtube.com/user/crashcourse I am currently working my way through the US History to supplement with my summer course, but I am also viewing Philosophy and A&P. These vids are the bomb! They are such a lifesaver, and they (wait for the cliché) “ make learning fun”!!!! I highly recommend these.
Duolingo; https://www.duolingo.com/ Have you ever wanted to gain some ground in a foreign language but you simply don’t have much time? Create a duolingo account! Again, I highly recommend this, especially the mobile app. I am working on Spanish right now.
Drink more Aqua!!! I bought a brand new water bottle and I am trying to reach my goal of 128 ounces per 12 hours. Ugh.
Exercise/Outside Time; Although the climate is humid and hot where I am residing this summer, I nevertheless am trying to go outside at least once each day, whether it is for a quick run or study time in the sun.
Cooking; My passion is culinary-based. Since I am with my family a LOT this summer, I have been cooking for them quite often lately. From tortillas to zucchini spice cake to sautéed broccoli, I tried lots of new recipes, mostly pulled from Pinterest.
Family; Not many blogs mention the importance of quality family time. Please spend time with your family, and make some memories (there I go again- those freakin’ clichés)
Read!!! I will be publishing my personal summer book list soon.
Ciao, loves! :) Happy summer studying!!!!

Summer study hour!!! How many chicks do you know prefer to spend their summers studying American History in late June before college? ....crickets chirping....yeah, there are sooooo many ways to better utilize one's personal free time. However, there are deadlines and requirements to meet, and I must meet them. At least there is the small bonus point of vanilla orange iced green tea lattes + cherry mountain trail mix + pink lady apples (technically three bonus points....even more if you count each scrumptious item in the trail mix) to savor whilst uncovering the mysteries of the early twentieth century's industrial kaboom. Ciao, loves! :) #summerstudyblr
